Armed? You didn't watch the video did you?

Or you think a camera is a dangerous weapon.

I did see the video... not this edited video but the one in its entierty. Yes, the AP photographers had cameras but had embedded themselves with the insurgents to get that "money shot".

What are you blabbering about you schmuck? they ruthlessly killed unarmed civilians, and injured, maybe killed, some children. laughed about it the whole time too. and were extremely trigger happy.

Personal attack eh? I must be getting to you. LOVELY! Losing your temper are you?

Good shots I'd say. The AP photgraphers wanted their money shots... and they got them. :)

There's a whole thread dedicated to that event. Might give you some interesting gleaning....

Why would a guy go to that thread when he can hijack this one, which I would assume deals with the perception the average Canadian has of typical life in the U.S. and the typical citizens, as I believe most normal people would understand? ;-)

Where the truth ain't good enough, no problem a little drama can't handle. "Verocious"- that "word" ain't even in the scrabble dictionary.

It could be a portmanteau. Mix ferocious with vicious, or veracious with ferocious. Words have to be non-words before they become recognized as words... ;)

Oh, and I have a very good opinion of the United States of America. I recently met many colleagues from the good ole US of A, brilliant folk!

United States
To quote Lance Winslow: "It is truly amazing that people slander the United States of America and tell us that the United States is involved in the most number of wars. Then the next week when a war breaks out in the Middle East between Hezbollah and Israel the same people demand that the United States of America intervene with military force to protect the innocent life.
What hypocrisy indeed? If the US has become the Worlds Watch Dog then they will be somehow involved in a number of wars. The number of people in prison is because we do not shoot and kill dissidents here. I stand tall and repeat; The United States of America is the Greatest Nation in the history of Mankind and it blows away even the tales of Atlantis and other mythological past civilizations. I win this argument and declare victory complete and total.
It is not right and it is unacceptable for the people of the world to slander this great nation on the Internet and forums and on blogs. Of course the United States of America will be involved in many wars but that is not because the United States of America is a hostile country; it is because the world is a hostile place with humans, which need to grow up and get with the program."
