It's an accounting of one woman's quest to find her sexuality outside of her marriage.

It was, uhm, interesting. The first 2/3 of the book were a neat look at the psychology behind women's sexuality, or perhaps more appropriately, lack thereof. The author sets out to be more, well, manly about finding what she likes and expressing it, developing her own sense of self and worth through sexual exploration, rather than being swept along on the tides of kids, housework, and marriage. It was just as I was starting to really identify with her quest, that it devolved into being merely about BDSM. Which, if you like a little spanky spanky and a tight vinyl dress, you'd probably love :) But, the last 1/3 lost me as it became about the fetish instead of a universal message. Ah well... it was still entertaining. lol.

You should take a look at 50 shades of Grey, I'm on the first of 3 and Jen is on book 2.

Kill Alex Cross by James Patterson, who is still the master of the thriller novel.
