You get a little apathetic about human nature as you get to be an old codger like me. Shouldn't be that way ,,doesn't help solve anything so,,ignore my old a$$

It's not as hard when you're looking for the strongest moral compass. He/She doesn't have to be a very good person, just a better person than the other candidates.

Britain hasn't got enough nuclear weapons. We've only got, officially, around 225, but the government never tells us how many we have exactly.

Russia, on the other hand, has got nearly 4,500 of them - that's TWENTY TIMES more nukes than Britain has.

It's patently obviously that, in these dangerous times, Britain has nowhere near the number of nuclear weapons that she should be having in order to form a strong and effective deterrent.

All it takes to destroy the wirld is one.

Have fun conversing with the star consultant. :) :) :) :)

I think compasses went out with the chastity belt since they got them new fangled G.P.S.s.

Never depend on anything that requires a battery.

LOts of beaches in Nunavut just waiting for the idle rich now that globull warming has taken all the ice away.

I know a retired career RCAF pilot who flew everyting that there was to fly in the 50s, 60', and 70's. Just this past Sunday, he commented that when he made his weekly flight up to Frobisher Bay (Iqaluit) and beyond at this time of the year, the sea was frozen solid in all directions, quite a bit earlier and all across the Arctic. He added that when he watched stumping politicians standing in front of of open sea on Baffin Island a week or two ago, it is hard to understand how anyone could possibly deny that the planet is warming up.

This guy is not a flake, lefty, liberal, enemy of Suncor, Easterner or any of those other suspicious types to the denier "experts". He is quite a conservative guy and he calls it the way that he sees it.

I'd take his observations and straight forward wisdom any day over that of the snotties who post de Nile nonsense on these boards as if they were paid to do so by Suncor and Exxon.

I don't vote for a candidate who hasn't come to my door. I was sitting on the couch and heard the mailbox snap. I looked right away and saw that she had dropped in a flyer. What pissed me off was that it had a note saying "sorry I missed you. They hadn't missed me, they just wanted to make it look like they had.
If I see more than one commercial for a party during an one hour show.
If they yell at me.
If there name starts with J.

All are possible except maybe the last one.

I vote for my" pity emotion" towards the Supreme Court of Canada, who went along with designer information process's and have provided Canadians a great injustice, disregard, respect, and meaningless service by participating in the "willfull blindness" information designer game.
Pity is a great emotion to navigate one's voting strategy.
I vote for my emotion of pity, when i vote for lazy, corrupt, stupid navigators of Justice,
I vote pity when i think of the Alberta Justice who writes information process's like reports and recognition of the transmission hearings here in Alberta,I was confused on what more could a Justice need, and why would anyone write such garbage.I vote pity for the officials of Justice who do not recognize Alberta has delivered some nasty process's of public engagement process's and has interfered with good justice governing.I vote for all my fellow Canadians who died in these administered process's,
I vote pity when i thik of delivers of Justicewho engage in behaviour of predetermined agendas of political influences which has little outcome of judisary good.
How about giving pity to the Justices who uses their title of honour to manipulate the public, knowing they are weakening Justice, and whoring the detail of correct Justice, and more so know they are promoting politcal outcomes,
how about pity towards Honourable Justices, who live in the shadow of political interference and recipical agreements, knowing darn well tarnish is left upon their hands, truely these Honourable people are deserving of my pity, big pity, and i will be voting for them along with my pity.
I feel good about this question being asked,I will try to think of more personal ideals which motivate me to vote the way I vote.
Here's to pitable voting strategies.
for the record,if I have over 10 drinks a month,I figure I am having fun, three times a year I may get disorganized with my drinking, this makes me feel like i am having fun,i work hard, and of course date night is always calling for some craziness.as i get older,i see those three times a year of getting my mojo on,will disappear,i really don't like drinking more then 2 drinks.
i like biker bashes and drinking,i only want to drink when i can move, like dance!

i like rob ford.

I vote for life. I vote for humanity. I vote for trust, integrity, honour, honesty, courage, respect, compassion, generosity, moderation, etc. As far as politics goes, I should be extremely disappointed. But, like hubby says, "hope for the best and expect the worst" so I am never disappointed.
