I vote for:

freedom from the EU;

the banning of Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish MPs voting on English-only matters and for England to get her own parliament;

a referendum in the Republic of Ireland on whether or not it wants to rejoin the UK;

a second attempt at trying to reclaim the lost English territories in France;

an increase of defence spending to 8% of GDP;

an increase in the size of the nuclear deterrent;

the abolition of all wind farms and other useless "green" energy schemes and the building of dozens more nuclear power stations;

St George's Day to be made a holiday in England;

a national British Empire day so people can celebrate the glories of the Empire; children will also be taught the glories of the Empire for at least six months per school term and made to be proud of Britain's great imperialistic adventures and achievements;

the banning of all non-UK languages from all UK workplaces and schools (and maybe Welsh);

the banning of offensive flags such as the Rainbow Flag from all public buildings (only the Union Jack, the flags of the constituent nations of the UK or county and region flags to be allowed);

the re-criminalisation of homosexuality and other unnatural, immoral and offensive acts wrongly outlawed in recent decades;

the banning of all racist organisations such as the Black Police Association;

the building of more pubs, and a new law put in place to ensure that none of them are closed down and converted into mosques;

no new purpose-built mosques; all new mosques to open only in old Victorian factories and warehouses;

a curfew on all Muslims over the age of four between 9pm and 8am;

the banning of all Islamic headgear;

less junk on the TV such as Big Brother and The X Factor and more science and history documentaries and documentaries promoting British history, culture and values;

a ban on all useless "subjects" at university - such as "texting studies" or "education studies";

those irritating numpties who persist in answering question by starting their reply with the word "so" and interruping littering the phrasing every so often with pointless utterings of "sort of" or "kind of", which is all the rage at the moment with some people - "So, this is a, sort of, pair of bracelets from the Olbia Treasure which, kind of, dates back to the 1st Century from the, sort of, Greek colonies in the Black Sea region..." - to be fined £60,000 and be jailed for a year;

a return of hanging for all murderers and traitors and those who kill, or attempt to kill, the monarch;

a return of Clarkson, Hammond and May to Top Gear and the making of even more such "laddish" programmes on TV, not only because such programmes are great but also because it angers the misandrist people who run Britain today who don't like such male-oriented, masculine programmes (British TV is too much oriented towards females right now, and this has to stop);

a new law brought in which ensures that women, who live longer than men on average, retire LATER than men and not before men as is, rather absurdly, the case now.

These are Blackleaf's sensible, commonsense policies for a happier, fairer, more prosperous Britain.

Yes we need more nuclear weapons. Not nearly enough of those.

Britain hasn't got enough nuclear weapons. We've only got, officially, around 225, but the government never tells us how many we have exactly.

Russia, on the other hand, has got nearly 4,500 of them - that's TWENTY TIMES more nukes than Britain has.

It's patently obviously that, in these dangerous times, Britain has nowhere near the number of nuclear weapons that she should be having in order to form a strong and effective deterrent.

Honesty would be nice but that doesn't happen in politics. I would vote for one who can facilitate health, wealth and wisdom as the result of wise decisions, good planning and hard work.

Let me know when you find one of those cause I think they are rarer than a $1million bill.

You only need 1 or 2 to destroy the world. All the rest are simply a p*nis extension.

I vote for the candidate who best represents the constitutional libertarian philosophy. If there is one available then I simply write "none of the above" on the ballot. I don't get the argument of voting for the lesser of 3 evils as it means you are still picking evil no matter how small a degree.

You got to be practical Nick, until we can get Pope Francis to run, you are stuck with quite a bit of evil. Even Harper can be an A$$hole when he puts his mind to it, but he understands industry and handling money. The Dippers and semi Dippers don't seem to realize we have to operate in alignment with our natural resources. Banning or restricting the use of oil is idiotic, it's what we HAVE. Working at reducing the harmful emissions is what makes sense. Everyone has an orgasm over the mention of coal. We were taught in school that there isn't a hell of a lot wrong with Black Anthracite, however much of it there is. Trees are what we grow and they are excellent for construction and can be replanted. If we can get a vessel to the moon without springing a leak, surely we can ship a little oil to China. If we are going to replace and upgrade infrastructure we have to do a little mining. There's got to be more to electioneering than allowing masks on faces! Let's get that northern pipeline started.

Let me know when you find one of those cause I think they are rarer than a $1million bill.

Maybe rarer than a $3 bill. :)

I'm voting against the greatest evil in Canada, Harpo. Whoever has the best chance to unseat the Con Party candidate.

Well that's a big waste and goes against all democratic principles. What you are really saying is you will vote for someone you don't like and doesn't represent your philosophy just because you don't like another guy even more. That is the most illogical reasoning you can have.

I think right about now, I would probably vote for a law, which states that any politician who makes campaign promises that he/she has no intention of keeping, will be forced to resign or impeached for being a liar .

I don't like any of them, not the parties or the candidates. I don't like our system of governance or the party system but I believe in voting. That is basic to a democracy, but our system has been overrun by corporations that have all the power and the citizens have very little say in how government is run or what laws are passed. The only policy I like in this election is changing the voting system to one of proportional representation. That is the only thing I will be voting for, the rest is about getting rid of Harpo.

Do you REALLY believe that Mulehair or Jr. will be any less evil than Harper? I have a chunk of ocean frontage for sale at Fort St. John. :)

We shouldn't think about Canada as removed from the rest of the world. We have to take into consideration that everything is global now. There will be bad things happen that are not related to anything Canada does but will affect us just the same. The world is in a state of instability. Therefore it is more important than ever for us to vote for stability.
It is a bad time to put our money on an new leader who is inexperienced in negotiation on a global level. The risk is too great.
Trudeau and Mulcair do not favor fighting against terrorists. Trudeau wants to pacify them and Mulcair want to negotiate with them. Both strategies are impossible. We need to get even more aggressive and wipe terrorists out wherever they are. And we need to make every effort to prevent them from entering Canada.

Absolutely, just like if you ignore an obnoxious child, it just gets brattier. :)

You silly. Canada is directly involved in creating "terrorists". Harper is directly involved. Do you think that Canada bombing the crap out of Libya would have no repercussions? Do you think our involvement in Afghanistan would have no repercussions? You invade another country and bomb and shoot their women and children and you expect that people there will not be pissed off. Do you even know why we went to Afghanistan?

A party which is anti-immigration, anti-multiculturalism and diversity, anti-EU, pro-British, pro-Christian, pro-military, anti-Socialist, anti-PC and anti-Labour.

I.E: Yookip.
Ah. Despotic totalitarianism. You are not blonde-haired and blue-eyed by any chance, are you?

I usually vote against whomever forms gov't if I cannot find anyone to vote for in my riding and it depends a lot upon what their qualities are.

We need to fight terrorists that are here and attacking Canada. Since they have not yet attacked Canada and actually had no interest in Canada until we started following the USA around the world in the 'bombs for oil' campaign (and don't ever kid yourself it is about anything other than oil) Harper's policies have made us less safe.

We do not need to negotiate or appease anyone nor do we need to spend billions sending our troops half way round the globe to fight for the USA to control oil reserves. What we need is to have a strong and clear message that any terrorist action on our soil will result in you becoming a dead terrorist in a short space of time. Other than that it's not our fight.

So any Canadian in a foreign land that gets killed by some pinhead with a bomb is out of luck?
