Sure, why not, but then again, I didn't give myself that title, I ran with something thrust upon me and had fun with it. In other words, taking what I dished out...;-)
Bear , I quoted you because the idea came up. I wasn't pointing fingers directly , it was a general statement as I have seen this from others a 'few' times. Aiming for the topic not the person ;)

Oh no worries dude, I didn't take it as a shot. I know you better then that. If anything, I took it as you giving me a gentle ribbing. I won't argue that I need one of those often, if not to just to keep me honest about myself, lol.

I do appreciate honesty like that but sometimes not at first as it tends to be a slap in the face hahaha. After tho yeah if it keeps me honest all the best ;)

Annoyance?

How about those who come to the 'Express Checkout' with a full cartload of groceries?

And then leave their shopping cats all over the parking lot?

I know, just the other day I ran over a cat in a parking lot, some woman had just left it there.

Luckily it didn't damage my car, lol.

Ohhh, a slap in the face is something completely different, around here we call that foreplay, lol. Honest, lmao!!!

I hate people who eat anything and just left wrappers on road or any where
vinod, as an avid hunter and angler, people who leave behind garbage, really, really, really, really, I mean really piss me off. Whenever we go fishing, we always come home with more garbage then we created ourselves.

For a lot of old codgers it's the transition from warm summer days to cold winter days and from lots of daylight to lots of darkness- when I was young we had about 9 months of summer and 3 of winter, now it's about 2 months of summer, 2 months of tough sledding and 8 months of winter.

Yup...as we get older, that global warming doesn't seem so bad:smile:

In spite of all the appearances, I am basically a happy fellow, with not many things that annoy me.

But I wish that when I am on the left turn lane and the advanced green arrow pops up, the slugs who are in front of me moved just a wee bit faster so that I would not have to wait for the next light change, to make my turn.

In no particular order:

Arrogant and/or stupid drivers
Bad parents
Abuse of authority
Line ups - for anything
The insane price of getting a haircut
Getting caught believing a TV infomercial and actually buying the product only to discover you've been had. And you knew it going in - but you fell for it anyway.
Spam callers - especially on my cell!! grrrr....

.... that's just for starters - maybe we better get a gratitude thread going somewhere to balance out all the negative energy that's gonna pile up in this thread lollll

Zan I would go with your entire list except for the hair cut and add at least one more: There was a woman ahead of me in the line up
at the grocery store and she was carrying a five year old who obviously had a bad cold or the flu. The woman swung around and the kid coughed a big wet cough right in my face. I'll be remembering that woman and her child fondly if I come down with the flu in a week..

My sentiments exactly re the haircut- I get my hair cut exactly as I like it for $12 & I am so happy I tip the guy. One of my biggest peeves is people who don't do what they say they are going to.

I cut my own hair, and my husbands too, although he lost most of it somewhere along the way.
no one has laughed and pointed at us yet, so I guess I'm doing a pretty job.

many things that use to annoy me immensely, now bring a little smile to my face, and a little
shake of the head, as I've seen it all now, and the behavior of the human is rather interesting
and many times pitiful.
I find the slow drivers don't bother me any more, but the arrogant impatient ones catch my eye,
and I feel sorry for what they are doing to themselves with their 'i'm more important' than you
attitude.
I've stopped becoming mad at the politicians, but it amazes me how they can lie, lie, lie, and how
the public keep getting sucked in, but I guess we have to choose someone, (or do we), yes we do,
because if we don't the worst one will win.
The commercials on TV, and most advertising use to make me squirm, (same story as the politcians).

The regular person in life who falls to drug use, and alchohol abuse, and those who eat eat eat,
and become very fat, are very annoying, as they have lost my respect, and that is worse than
just becoming angry with them.

All of the above get the little smile, and the shake of the head, because at 72 I have seen the
wheel go round and round, and bad behavior doesn't seem to change, they just keep repeating the
same behavior, so what is the point of getting mad, that is just hurting yourself, but the little
smile and the little head shake seems to be the flavour of the day for me.
