Which should only be done in a near empty parking lot. I find it very annoying when someone is attempting to back into a parking space and every other person has to wait for them to figure it out cause they've successfully blocked through traffic.

Well you can block it for 1/2 a minute entering or 1/2 a minute when leaving. Safer to do it entering.:)

Northern Ontario,
It's also much easier to back into a tight spot in a parking lot than go in forward....It's the reason why fork lift trucks have rear wheel steering for maneuverability.
Same reason you back into a parallel parking spot.

The more things that are out of your control the better, just frees up a whole bunch of time you used to worry about sh*t you couldn't do anything about. If there's two or three things you can control you have enough "on your plate". :)

true, recognizing somethings are out of you're control helps you not get frustrated and waist you're time being frustrated about it.

I've waisted lots of time being frustrated with the world
Instead of working on improving the things that are in my control

I've tried to change that in the last few years
I think, things are improving because of it

The Alcoholics' Prayer (I'm not alcoholic) but it's just good wisdom for everyone regardless of what your woes are, I think.

"God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference.

Most of my lashing out at seniors was about my frustrations due to lack of opportunity.

I'm not sure but I know back in the day when I had a bunch of kids "working" with me, they sure used to get pissed off when I woke them up to do a little actual work.:)

By concentrating on the things I can control, I've changed my approach on things, Today I blow all the boomers right out of the water. They don't even come close to keeping up.

I've made numerous remarks about a forum member who denigrates seniors, but it certainly wasn't you I was referring to.:)

Ooops, I deduct from the "red" that a boss has no f**king business waking up sleeping employees during working hours.:):):):)

Not sure what my biggest is, but one that is up there are people in authority, political and otherwise who are overwhelmed with their own perceived level of importance. :)

Sometimes called "The Serenity Prayer." I prefer the Calvin & Hobbes version:

"Grant me the power to change what I can
The inability to accept what I can't
And the incapacity to tell the difference"

When Calvin recites this, Hobbes says "You're going to have an interesting life," to which Calvin responds "Oh, I already do!"
