Ah - forgot to mention that I included baked browns beans in the recipe. Mmmmm - mmmm - mmmm. Got plenty of leftovers for tomorrow and beyond that.
Green chili burritos, tacos, tostadas , tamales, enchiladas , chilupas, cheese crisp with salsa refried beans , spanish rice , chili relenos, bean burritos , chicken enchiladas , with apple pie and vanilla ice cream & chocolate cake for desert.

while very tasty it didn't fill me up very much - this despite having two full bowls

The wife and her sister are out of town Bingoing for a few days, so there's very little formal eating happening. I made a couple of potfuls the first night they were gone to last the duration but somehow it's lost its appeal, but there will still be a couple of meals left for her when she gets back tomorrow.
