i bought a nice little pizza at the local grocer.

vegetarian, with goat cheese, really good, had a bit of home grown sliced
tomatoe on the top.

cantaloupe with french vanilla yogurt on top and a glass of milk.

too hot today to cook

i have found that our local grocery store has nice pizzas, don't buy them
at the pizza places any more. too expensive, and not that good.
i can find nice pizzas, a bit healthier, lots of veggies, with meat or not,
i look for them on sale, bring them home and freeze them.
the store also make up their own in their deli, very very good.

Had some sauteed chicken last night and ate all the meat & fixins but still had plenty of thick stock left over. So today I added onions, spam, chopped green peppers, and Swiss cheese which made a very thick and tasty soup.

All improvised and very yummy!

went 'out' for dinner today, well, our dinner is about 3:00 in the afternoon, always.

went to the white spot, and had, from their brand new 'local foods' menu.

apple, brie, chicken, bacon and greens burger, and fries, and it was the best burger i've
had for a long time.

won't happen very often, but nice now and then.
husband had a clubhouse sandwitch.

coffee, no dessert.

had an early dinner tonight and it was yummy:

cabbage & brown rice soup

smoked beef sausage & chicken parts (white meat)

seasonings

dessert = banana-cream-orange juice

I made enough so that I could have leftovers for tomorrow. But the darn thing was so good, I just made have another dinner & finish it off tonight!

:) :) :)

Ahhhhh! I had just enough leftovers from yesterday's soup feast and it was twice as tasty this evening. Next time I'm gonna have to make even more so that I can have enough for three nights in a row!!

Three days for soup or stews, let nature do the chewing, you got good taste man.

Microbes are under our dominion if you let them work you don't need teeth. Nature knows best, all you have to do is let it deecompose dinner.
