I can see this being both a regime change and not a regime change, depending on the perspective. It’s a weird situation.
According to Trump, the US would "run" Venezuela until there is a "safe, proper and judicious transition". Trump went on to say that the US and US companies would seize Venezuelan oil and sell it to other countries.
Trump/America invading the country and now calling the shots, that’s different.
It is a weird situation. I could probably argue that the regime change hasn’t changed also…& that it also has.
It was a bloodless decapitation. No regime change.

Bloodless? Anyway, lots of News stories out about Trump & Cuba now, since Trump (not the ‘still & current’ regime in Venezuela) cut off all oil from Venezuela to Cuba…that they “have to” make a deal or Else (!!) without saying what the deal is about. What “deal” does Trump want from Cuba?
Except for 75 or so allegedly Cuban merc-- um, allies in security.

Depends on which report you read. Nobody is talking who isn't a notorious serial liar.
Lots of news stories about the demand & rejection (of any deal forced by Trump) of Trumps “deal” without any details of what deal Trump wants.
I can (as can we all) speculate as to what that is, from a nation about 100 miles from Mar-a-Lago…but…
Was Maduro (the "head" of the regime) killed or the 75 Cubans were the head of Venezuela that was decapitated?
So it’s bloodless as long as Maduro himself didn’t bleed?
So if Iran’s current leader deposed without being hung from a streetlight or otherwise disposed of, then that’s a bloodless regime change?
If Ukraine’s current president is deposed without being….bloodied(?)….then the Russian special military whatever would have been a bloodless regime change?
Ahhhh…so if Zelenskyy or Khamenei come out of this with their heads still on their shoulders, but not in control of their countries…then these were options too? Bloodless options even?
