According to Trump, the US would "run" Venezuela until there is a "safe, proper and judicious transition". Trump went on to say that the US and US companies would seize Venezuelan oil and sell it to other countries.
Ah… so both were controlled by Trump then? That’s interesting all by itself, seeing as he’s the one calling the shots as opposed to the current sitting Venezuelan president.
Venezuela controlled its own affairs with its own politicians two weeks ago. Now Trump decides what happens. Trump decides who they do business with or not. Trump controls the money, etc…
If it’s not a regime change in definition, it sure is in aroma.
Trump/America invading the country and now calling the shots, that’s different. It is a weird situation. I could probably argue that the regime change hasn’t changed also…& that it also has.
