The media didn't put Jones into office. The voters did.
So your theory is that a Democrat and media conspiracy convinced voters that Roy Moore was a pedophile and this influenced them into voting in Doug Jones. In other words, people believed the allegations and had to choose between a pedophile senator and a pro-choice senator. Enough people decided that being a pedophile was worse, so it was a referendum on morality by your own crackpot theory.
There was a 40% turnout of the electorate for this election. Full slate congressional and Presidential elections draw up ot 60% or more. Its true that Democrats managed to rev up their voters more than the Republicans. And the mud slinging and hatchet job aimed at Moore likely suppressed his vote. But you cannot draw any conclusions about the moral choices of Alabamans from this.
Again Moore was not a 'pedophile'. He was a moral Christian man who has courageously stood for Life and sanity against Culture of Death hack candidates like Doug Jones.
A 14 year-old girl is a child. That's pedophilia.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I've always thought pedophilia pertains to sexual activity with a person who is biologically immature physically (a child) and is NOT determined by age.
