I defend him because unless his personal life directly affects his ability to do the job, or unless he is smoking it in his office, it is BS and where is the proof. This is just media mania.

What is exposed here and the mask which dropped was in fact yours. From your rabid defense it is clear you are not so open minded or supportive as you appear. You defend because he is right wing and you don't want to accept he may well hang with those on the margins of society...it's not about his work produced, it is partisan for you. Because for you, it's all about you. You are missing the nuance of when he was fired and why. He was not fired until it was publicaly revealed. That is dishonest. So if Harper knew about it, that is a problem, if Harper didn't know about it, that is a problem. That is what being the boss means. It's all on your shoulders so keep things transparent and above board or you fail.

Personally, I care little about Ford and his alleged crack habit. I'm just glad this fiasco is in Toronto and far enough away from the west.

The three things that are quite apparent from this thread is that, a) Toronto is a laughing stock b) The Toronto voters want to give Kweebeck a run for the title of most corrupt politics in Canada and c) many voters in Toronto are unaware of a and b.
