This is me still not giving much of a damn but watching with curiosity, lol.

Anyway, the only one I can put myself in the place of would be a resident of the city, and if I were I'd be pretty much pissed at everybody involved (from the mayor to the police chief to the press) for dragging this sorry mess out as long as it has. File a charge, make a statement, get the **** on with and over it already.

That is my cursory "Ford-gate" thought for the day. Carry on carrying on now.

In my case I had just got a raise in '75 , after a 5 month strike, and several months later Trou d'eau brought in wage and price control retroactive to the beginning of the year and I had to give it pack....That's f ucked over

Crétin and Martin in '97, dropped the lifetime capital gains' exemption to 100 thousand right after my shares maxed in Spruce Falls and I sold them for a tidy profit before retirement and where I would have been tax exempt, I paid a tidy bundle ...That's f ucked over.

When Harper came in office he brought in retirement income splitting, which really helps me out..makes you wonder why I don't blame him for what Senators are doing, and the horse and pony show of the opposition...Non?.

Rob Ford should not resign just bring in drug testing for the Mayor and the Councillors and the latter would reject that one because of their indiscretions.

The way I see it Bear, like in a lot of news, there's generally some trash in the substance and some substance in the trash. I guess Ford is supposed to enlighten us today.

I don't trust him. He said he would be transparent. I think he is lying. I think Duffy is a s hit but they used him to fund raise. If he had not been caught all would be well. That bugs me. Duffy and Walleye got caught. They threw them under the bus and pretend this was an unknown behavior. When you are the boss you are responsible for your workers. He is responsible or he is incompetent beyond words.

I agree with you 100% re Harper's income splitting. It has just been a huge help to the wife and me.
