Actually no, he IS impeached. The senate is where the issue of removal happens.
Donald J Trump is, officially and for the history books, the third to be impeached as President.
As you probably know "impeached" doesn't mean a hell of a lot. IT's a political term, NOT a legal one!

Of course the delay in sending the articles to the senate is being played and interpreted to favor Trump.........Implying he is not impeached until the articles have been passed on. NOT true........ but the current talking point. Trump will be over that one like a bad rash. Polosi made it clear why she is waiting........ and she is justified. She is trying to make it as proper as possible.......given what McConnel has said........( that he will not be unbiased.....).......so which ones are planning a sham court? The fact is He IS impeached....... That cannot be reversed .........even thought Trump is going to try . But all that seems to matter to the population is the economy.........and when dollar signs are in front of their eyes.........they will accept the worst of the worst in character traits int heir POTUS. The upshot is tat the US cannot claim to be a nation of values............ unless they are talking monetary values only........ they have made their choice.......and probably repeat that choice. While the world watches the US turn into something still to be defied. ...and has front row seats for this theater. Whee oh where would Donald be without his lawyers??
