lol It's a blatant display of what a facade he has for character. He claims the Bible is his favourite book and he's a Christian, yet he's screwed around on all three wives. lmao
It says nothing about him as a president, I agree, but if he screwed around on his loved ones, it's a clue on how he'd behave concerning his country, too.
Is Trump's favorite book .the Bible.?? Ya know.....in a bizarre kind of way ......it makes sense. ......IF he actually READS. It does not mean he practices "Bible teachings " in his daily life.( Stating the obvious) ;-)Gotta say He makes a fascinating case for Psychological studies. He is complex in his simplicity.

What will be your reaction if Trump is re-elected? And don't say that it won't matter to you because you are Canadian all your posts say otherwise.
What would I do if Trump is re elected??

First: NOT be surprised........given the state of affairs in the US today.

Second: Continue to discuss his activities ,decisions, attitudes and persona on here..:) Who knows.....he might go through a major transformation and become a decent human being.

Trump's favourite book is the "Art of the Deal" because it's all about him.

He might think that the Bible is about him and his supernatural powers. It would be no surprise to find that he has a bit of a "god" complex. It would just be another level of his attitude of superiority.

White House tells House Democrats to end impeachment inquiry, less than an hour before deadline for Trump to agree to participate

Facing a 5 p.m. deadline on whether to participate in next week’s hearings, White House counsel Pat Cipollone responded in a letter, “You should end this inquiry now and not waste even more time with additional hearings.”

source: WAPO

and the Trump games go on.

Fist he offers.......then he reneges...........and obstructs. and around they go. He is one slippery dude.........with many characteristics of a sociopath.

and so NONE PRESIDENTIAL. and now has a group of yes men that will defy the rules for him. america no more. Give him another four ears and he might name the nation Trump-Land. and declare himself Dear Leader for Life. He has tasted REAL power ........and will do anything to hang on to it.regardless of the "casualties " in his wake.

Sadly he's in office so there's only one - two - ways to end the charade, JLM. Impeach or vote him out. Right now it's a 'which will happen first'.

Not that I have hopes for either one, mind you.

As I have said form the beginning - the best thing all around would be for Trump to lose the 2020 election.

That is not to say that the impeachment is not necessary.

There is no alternative.

Hopefully it will end as predicted with the Senate protecting Trump from justice and the American people responding by removing the GOP from the Senate.

Then its game set match for the Dems.

With his guts and gumption he'll serve another term as it may turn out to be what "the people" want.

Depending on how you look at 2016 Election, "the people" didn't want him then, either.

But he'll likely serve another term, yes.

Oh JLM, that's the EC.

Popular vote had Clinton beating him by 3 million.

Which is why I said depends on how you look at the Election.

Guess that means you're good with Trudeau as PM and have no complaints about how the PC got more of the Pop vote and so they should'a won, right?

Same thing.

We didn't have buses of illegals voting illegally here in Canada, so that comparison makes absolutely no sense at all.

Trump argument bolstered: Clinton could have received 800,000 votes from noncitizens

Hillary Clinton garnered more than 800,000 votes from noncitizens on Nov. 8, an approximation far short of President Trump’s estimate of up to 5 million illegal voters but supportive of his charges of fraud.

Political scientist Jesse Richman of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, has worked with colleagues to produce groundbreaking research on noncitizen voting, and this week he posted a blog in response to Mr. Trump’s assertion.

Based on national polling by a consortium of universities, a report by Mr. Richman said 6.4 percent of the estimated 20 million adult noncitizens in the U.S. voted in November. He extrapolated that that percentage would have added 834,381 net votes for Mrs. Clinton, who received about 2.8 million more votes than Mr. Trump.

Have you ever researched the spontaneous acts of charity Trump dished out prior to his political career?
