Lots of people screw around on their spouses, gee I hear even our Right Honourable Justin Trudeau has a squeeze on the west coast .

Good point, J.F.K. was no choir boy in that department so if it's alright for J.F.K. to screw around, why should Trump have to be held to a different standard? It would be interesting to hear O.B.'s and Serryah's take on this aspect.

Sadly he's in office so there's only one - two - ways to end the charade, JLM. Impeach or vote him out. Right now it's a 'which will happen first'.

Not that I have hopes for either one, mind you.
An impeachment looking for a crime . How can the best and brightest the Democrat Party have to offer be so stupid as to pursue this .Trump is gaining support among both independents and moderate democrats . They have no path forward in the Senate . The American public are not onboard yet they persist in this madness . Yikes you can’t make this up .

Oh JLM, that's the EC.

Popular vote had Clinton beating him by 3 million.

Which is why I said depends on how you look at the Election.

Guess that means you're good with Trudeau as PM and have no complaints about how the PC got more of the Pop vote and so they should'a won, right?

Same thing.
No both won in the electoral system their country uses . The EC is the law of the land in America ,

The constant blockage of tax records and transactions with Deutsche Bank suggests lots of crimes ....

People like Serryah don't understand that popular vote while very important doesn't necessarily guarantee uniformity. For instance in the U.S. if California and N.Y. were discounted Trump would have had the popular vote.

Is Trump's favorite book .the Bible.?? Ya know.....in a bizarre kind of way ......it makes sense. ......IF he actually READS. It does not mean he practices "Bible teachings " in his daily life.( Stating the obvious) ;-)Gotta say He makes a fascinating case for Psychological studies. He is complex in his simplicity.
He said it was his favourite book.

With his guts and gumption he'll serve another term as it may turn out to be what "the people" want.
lol Most of America didn't want him and voted against him. It took the EC to override what voters wanted. So much for democracy and not letting minorities rule.

Control, pigs. You're the model of integrity ... cheat on spouses, spit on Servicemen, get wealthy through dodgy dealings ...

Anyone that has the rationale to add can put the clues together and come up with the idea that Trump tried blackmailing Zelensky and then impeded the following investigation. lol

Simple answer JLM: it's not.

What the issue is, besides the screwing around, is they hypocrisy of it.

Republicans have always been this party of family and Christian values... and yet their leader right now is the least Christian person you could have.

But IMO - JFK was just as bad as Trump for screwing around on his wife. It's one reason why I don't like Bill Clinton - that he lied about screwing around.

Much as I think it's a private matter between husband and wife about what happens over the allegations/truths of it, the Republicans going all out against people who do when their own people get their 'pleasures' off of similar acts isn't exactly, you know, right?

Except that I DO, JLM.

It's why I've never contested the results of the US election. Despite the popular vote, Trump won. I didn't like it, but after the election, I was also "okay, now we wait to see what he does."

Now we know.

My point was that there are cries in the US for electoral reform as much as there are cries for it in Canada, for much the same reasons.

And that if you have no problem with Trump being President, then you have no issue with Trudeau being PM, because they are the leaders under similar circumstances.

Understand now?

So being Republican requires you to be religious? I never thought it was a prerequisite, although I know some are!

The Evangelicals have a very narrow agenda and are willing to forgive as long as long as Trump does the Christian thing and gets rid of abortions, fags, blacks and commies.

There's a reason why the GOP is also nicknamed the "God's Own Party", JLM.

You really don't pay attention much, do you?
