i think you could afford that on a 70k salary.
I can afford to do it more often on $150k

This election proved that Canadians care about more than the economy.
just people who prop up capitalism.
i don't value wealth very highly to be honest. if i was a billionaire i would never live like one. i'd probably give most of my wealth away to homeless shelters or something.
i don't know what the hell a person needs a billion, or even a million dollars for to be honest.
there was an experiment done where it was shown after a salary of 70k, a person's happiness started to stagnate.
Not a chance. Heck, the old PC's were almost as left-wing as the US Democrats.
I get a kick out of Liberals. I've been listening to the CTV and CBC for the last two days and their repetition about ''Justin Trudeau's historic landslide victory.'' I recall the days following Stephen Harper's victory, when every second comment on CBC.Ca and other leftist news sites was something about ''Stephen Harper got a majority yet 60% of Canadians voted against him.'' Lets take a look at a few numbers.
1: In 1958, John Diefenbaker and the Progressive Conservatives took 208 seats out of the 265. Highest majority ever won.
2: In 1982, Brian Mulroney took 211 seats out of the 282 seats, the most seats ever won by a party.
3: In 2011, Stephen Harper won a 166 seat majority that left the Liberals in 3rd place with only 34 seats and the NDP as official opposition with 103 seats. Harper took 166 out of 308 seats.
4: Trudeau took 184 seats out of 338. Is that not the same ratio as 166 out of 308?
5: Popular vote: 2011, Stephen Harper 39.6%. 2015: Justin Trudeau 39.5%
Question: Where is the landslide?? Oh--and by the way--John A. Macdonald won five consecutive majority victories defeating the Liberals every time. Then he died. Now that is a landslide!

Why did they lose so many seats this time? Nobody wants NDP, the voter proved that by showing them to the House door.
Bye bye stir fry!

How many religious nutbags hold important govt positions in Canada? When are you going to have actual universal health care?Oh heck no. Even with this election Canada just moved slightly left of far right compared to the US.
This year. Earlier in many states.Really now? So when did the US legalize gay marriage?

Was that Old Stock Canadians?Even our previous right-wing PM refused to reopen any debate on gay marriage or abortion. Even when one of his backbenchers brought up gay marriage he essentially said that as far as he was concerned, Canadians had spoken up and out about the issue and that the subject was closed.
