Ace of Spades is also known as the death card....

Death is easy, but what after death for disbelievers. And if they claim preferred by God, let them desire for death to go to Paradise and prosper there. But in the Quran the associaters: the idolsters and Jews cling most to life; they desire to live one thousand years but even living such long life will not move them from the torment and punishment.

Re #233.

eanassir, don't get the wrong impression that I am on your side, but, your assessment of Spade is quite correct. This guy/gal is a gambler, gambling that no one will ever call him/her on what he is: a TROLL.

Has anyone EVER read anything by Spade, that was more than latching onto someone else's post with a humourless, silly, idiotic and baseless comment?

Does this guy/gal have a mind of his/her own?

Probably the same as for believers - worm food. Man is of Earth and to her bosom we return.

The Jew Hannon will not increase the Muslims even a grain (if he converts), neither Christians have any desire for Hannon - a parable.

Seek and ye shall find. Go forth and seeketh thy snow upon thy Mount(ain)...for it is said that snow and many other things ye would seek shall be found at the highest levels of our earthly world, and in our small corner of it shall be found many things high. For we are the seekers of the truth, the word, and the snow.

Yea, tho' we are but mere mortals we have been given the gift of purity of mind and soul, and we are driven to higher ideals and aspirations because of them. And it shall come to pass that the brains which have been betrothed to us will lead us to the promised land...the land of snow, milk, and honey. Ye shall find these gifts on the mount, with an abundance of the one you seek near the summit.

And as you toil and struggle in your journey to the top of the mount, ye shall be reminded of the reason for your quest, "I want more snow."

Note: I am not making fun of Christianity...I am merely exercising my right to have a bit o' fun with a particular writing style, while demonstrating that there are many ways to say a simple thing...Like, "the higher you go, the more snow you're likely to find" - I think that's the short form of the 3 paragraphs above!

Oh, and for the first two paragraphs I was sure I was reading right from Moses...:lol:

The same way you prove your glorious book....

My ashes will be around somewhere while you're still waiting on promises of honey-coated virgins.

You will not be merely dust. Your disbelieving soul will be disappointed. The Glorious Quran is the truth, and is uncomparable to the Torah of Ezra which is full of mistakes and lies against the prophets which lead to distorting their religion.((quran-ayat.com/conflict/index.htm#The_Torah_[or_Hebrew_Bible]_of_Ezra_))

Ahh, but here is where you are completely wrong and way out of your depth. I have my own Faith ... and it does not require gossip-filled tales and threats to keep me controlled. I am free to think my own thoughts and live my life to its fullest - within the constraints of this body. Pity all you have is death as a highlight in your life.

E A Nassir,
Please forgive Yukon for his outburst. After all, its the Jewish,/Islamic/Christian/Buddhist/Druze/Hindu thing to do!

We have had more passionate discussions than this Vinod, this is nothing. And the subject has also been discussed before, how different religions have freely borrowed from each other.

My hypothesis is that since Hinduism is the oldest religion on record, all the major religions have borrowed freely from Hinduism (which should interest you, I assume you are a Hindu).
Actually, from an anthropological and historical point of view, the Aborigines of Australia are the oldest living culture and spiritual path. The Dream Time predates the Vedas by thousands of years.

Thought I would consult "The Agnostic Witch"for a definitive check on SJP's assertion.
The Oldest Religion
"Final thought: If one really thinks about it; isn't agnosticism the oldest spiritual structure? After all--are we born believing in a god, -or anything for that matter?"
This sounds about right. Religion is a cultural and learned phenomenon. I f a child were somehow abandoned to nature and raised by wolves, say like Mogly in Jungle Book, what do you think he/she would think of religion when first exposed to it?

I think they would think believers were all fruit loops escaped from an asylum.

Jack,
If I were you I would ask my doctor for different meds. The ones you are making you into a humourless troll. Or maybe you never had a sense of humour, in which case perhaps you should ask him for happy pills.

I hear you, Yukon and I'll give you a little hint, there is a certain level of I.Q. that is necessary to understand Spade, but if you happen to have it he's not hard to understand at all. He's actually a very sensible man.
