Yes CB, I know you who and what you are. IMO, you should be banned from this forum indefinitely for constantly violating the rules. I have no idea why the moderators haven't done so, but that's their call, not mine. In the meantime, all I can do is ignore you. The last thing I have to say to you is go F$#@ yourself.

Regarding that report on the fuel trucks. I suggest you read it again as you clearly didn't understand what you were reading.

You act like the Fuel Truck incident is a new story.

Fact...the fuel trucks were hijacked by insurgents, tracked and then bombed. Civillians were certainly killed near the fuel trucks during the airstrikes. Not a new story. We already had a thread on this.

Petros -
I watched Fox a long time ago and saw them for what they are - Tabloid news - slanted beyond any sense of credibility. NPR and CBC, Globe & Mail , Nat Post, London Times are some of the areas where I go.

As Fox Mulder states "The truth is out there"
They are all the same and use the same subterfuge to form your opinions on a topic. Brainwashing at it's finest.

I have consistently called for holding people accountable for their actions.

wiki-definitions

Troll: In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[2]

Well from what threads you and your namesake post - cut copy and paste - You and JBeee should get together as the defnition above applies to each of you equally. And this is not based upon appearance but fact.

Always followed by a "but" or some form of caveat, with the claim that Hamas has never lied, or broken cease fires. Which is always followed by Colpy, Goober, Ironside, EagleSmack or myself posting proof to the contrary, which you instantly dismiss or ignore.

Anyways, would you mind staying on topic?

Or in your case to spread lies and misinformation about the military and Israel.

You're as much of a troll as I am eao. The only difference being, I admit it and know that about myself.

Slander and Libel: In common law jurisdictions, slander refers to a malicious, false and defamatory spoken statement or report, while libel refers to any other form of communication such as written words or images.

I keep a file of every statement made by people like you, so when you bring this up and threaten me, I can defend myself in a court of law. If you feel so inclined please inform Andem of your intentions of legal proceedings and I will furnish him with all my particulars.

Be forewarned, I am well acquainted with all civil and criminal law in this area and I will file a counter suit to recoup all costs. And I will win.

Speaking of trolling eao, this has nothing tto with the topic, this is your attempt to shut me down, sut me up and have your opinions be the only voice.

It's not the first time you've threatened me either. I still have your PM's threatening the same childish crap.

Well I guess that means you ran out of threats and can't refute the facts you've just been challenged with?

What's new is that we now know what the US military knew and when. Which doesn't correspond very closely with their statements at the time. Its called getting caught in a lie. This is only one example where it appears military personnel were either criminally negligent or committed a war crime and then deliberately lied about it.

As far as I know, no one was ever held accountable for what was either a criminally negligent mistake or a deliberate war crime (I can't see how anyone could come to any other conclusions) which resulted in the slaughter of 56 innocent civilians.

When I read some of these reports it become pretty clear to me why Afghan civilians have become increasingly hostile toward the foreign occupation forces. If someone bombed my wedding or killed my friends and relatives with impunity, I'd be pissed too.

And they knew what?

Do you usually bring stolen fuel trucks to weddings?

No they didn't, they reported it in real time. As new intel became available, it was made available to the public.

As far as I know, no one was ever held accountable for what was either a criminally negligent mistake or a deliberate war crime (I can't see how anyone could come to any other conclusions) which resulted in the slaughter of 56 innocent civilians.
That's your interpretation of it. Unfortunately the rules of armed conflict, RoE and QSO, state otherwise.
When I read some of these reports it become pretty clear to me why Afghan civilians have become increasingly hostile toward the foreign occupation forces. If someone bombed my wedding or killed my friends and relatives with impunity, I'd be pissed too.
So would I. And no amount of explanation as to the fact that it was an accident would sway my feelings.

But I look at this from the outside, and I use logic and reason, not empathy, rage, anger or any form of emotion to disseminate the facts. Hence our polar opposite opinion.

When will you be posting your real name, home address and license number, to prove you are you you say you are eao?

I just read the summary. A German Commander called in the air strike which was conducted by a US F-15 and insurgents and civillians were killed.

Like I said...no new revelations.

Well look at who appears - Must have moved to a sunny spot on the ashphalt.

I remember that well - He screwed up - also remember this occurred after the Germans had their rules of engagement changed - prior to that they could not even fire on Taliban if they were walking down the same road together - they could not report any sighting of Taliban to other Countries -

Then this happened and the commander was relieved of his command.

"Wikileak`s revealing the truth may endanger US troops lives"......

While the generals hid the fact from the dupes fighting thier war, that Taliban may be using heat-seeking SAM (surface to air misiles) against US troops, who exactly were endangering those same lives? Why the generals, of course.

Personally, the more dead American troops the merrier.

Wikileaks released 90,000 documents regarding the Afghanistan war in what is being described as the biggest leak of classified information ever. The US government is not happy. They include details of many previously unknown and/or unreported incidents where Allies killed innocent civilians. Some incidents appear to be accidents, but others appear deliberate. You can judge them for yourself.

Oh goody. Finally someone posted a thread about Afghanistan. (All sarcasm absolutely intended).

Bump.

I heard this this morning when i was in the states. My initial reaction was good. If it exposes the governments U.S. and Pakistans involvement then some thing can be done to correct this. Now I wonder if that was not the whole intent of this ordeal. To put doubt in the interactions with Pakistan. If this wasn't purposely leaked in the first plce with higher consent.
This could also be a symptomn in reaction to what's going on in Afgahnistan. Having the U.S. general stepping down because he voiced concerns of how bad this war is going and now this.

now I don't know what to make of it.

I like snakes Goober, they're actually kind of neat. We have a Red Rat Snake as a pet. I actually have more respect for that snake then I do for JBeee though. At least our snake has the guts to physically bite the hand that feeds it.
.... and snakes usually don't wish any other life to be dead except what they want to eat. In that way they are much more advanced than some humans. :/

.....and I thank my father (2WW) and grandfather (1WW) for fighting for these freedoms we have.

Todays `wars` are a sick joke, in a sense compared to previous conflicts.

We, the West and Americans in particular, think were able to force our opinions/beliefs on other cultures (remember Nazi Germany?) and rob them of thier resources while doing so and expect them to sit still. When they resist and fight back (as would be expected), we as THe pathetic, ignorant and indifferent culture we`ve become, are shocked, even perplexed.

Yes, 9/11 was a wake up call, thankfully. And thankfully as well we have this medium to `speak our minds` on why it happened, given the muffled media corps. we rely on today for information before and since.

I knew this would be a hoot on this forum.

One thing for sure...this Army Specialist will most likely spend the rest of his days behind bars. I hope it was worth it for him.

It actually took a day for it to get posted here after it was released. I was shocked it wasnt posted 30 seconds after wikileaks released it
