I've used both terms to describe the self styled warroir clubs on more than one occasion.
Some people say the nice things I have to say about you don't excuse you or your attitude. That hasn't changed my opinion of you either.agreed, but that doesn't excuse levant, or his attitude.

I know I'll probably get shot for saying this but, as much as I think pretty much all news outlets are far more interested in headlines than in reporting news information, I've got to say the Sun often comes off like the whiny middle child. It's all Marcia, Marcia, Marica! Lol.
I take them with as much of a grain of salt as I do the others.
SUN is toast because they didn't get the tax credits they needed or CRTC approval to get a cut of the cable bundle they were lumped into. The difference between the Sun and CBC is founded in where they each get their money for operations.
If the Sun wants to pursue a path that will put them into bankruptcy, then so be it.... The CBC, on the other hand, is wholly responsible to the tax payer and as such, does not enjoy the same opportunities as private outlets
Ezra is like the Canadian version of Glen Beck.

It's the informal logical fallacy called tu quoque.Lol. I'm not comparing, not saying any one is better or worse. In fact, I didn't even mention CBC. Why is it that any criticism of Sun is automatically defended by "but the CBC"?

The Harper CRTC is favouring CBC.

Sorry to say SLM, but you made the initial observation to start. Sun News IS extreme, but that extremity is entirely relative to 'something' and in this case, the opposite extreme is the CBC.
The follow-up to this is that groups like the CBC that are 100% taxpayer funded exist to be middle of the road. In Canada's case, it has morphed into a few small fiefdoms to act as a political tool or an activist agenda for d-bags like Suzuki
Even the left leaning media in the U.S. showed more solidarity than global in this instance.Ya don't have to like a 'reporter' or a single on-air personality, or even a networks slant. They all pretty much work the same 'cept the sun is on the right side of things for the most part.
The point is, move all the reporters across a sidewalk or move none.
Which instrument do you play on the bandwagon? No network is 100% funded by taxpayers. The follow-up to this is that groups like the CBC that are 100% taxpayer funded exist to be middle of the road.

Is it? Are you sure about that? Is it 100%?
