Sorry Captain but you're inferring a direct comparison out of my observation where none exists. I've developed a perspective out of continual observation of how the Sun behaves when stating their complaints. I haven't even stated whether or not I think their base complaint has merit or not, simply that the way in which they choose to draw attention to whatever their issue may be comes off as rather whiny.

'Left/Right' or 'Extreme/Not Extreme' are entirely relative measures.

Guess that we'll have to agree to disagree

Which instrument do you play on the bandwagon.

I'm in the percussion section.. It's reserved for taxpayers that are sick and tired of this sh*t and can wail-away on something to vent their frustrations

No network is 100% funded by taxpayers.

But only one Canadian network gets in excess of a billion dollars annually to operate... On that note, makes that company even more pathetic in that they do get some ad revenues, still need a billion and still can't compete

Kiss the Telefilm Canada funding, Provincial production funding/credits and network tax credits good bye and there would be no Canadian TV/News/Sports at all.

SUNk is $16,000,00 in the hole and crying for tax breaks. Why would they need tax credits and production funding anyway?

You pay a levy on your DVR or MP3/MP4 player/recorder and cell gadget too.

The Cons are even cranking up that tax.

Happy Halloween!

Extremes? Like the extremes SUNk goes to which this thread is based on?

I'm not defending the CBC I'm bashing the funding and credits all networks get.
