What's the difference between Obamacare and the Iraq War? Obamacare affects more Americans adversely.

Lol! If true, then what we really need is Canadacare:

Canada's health care system, which is comparable to the popular U.S. program Medicare, provides publicly funded health insurance to all citizens and is administered by the provinces, with guidelines set by the federal government."

Even Palin believes (as do the majority of Canadians) that socialist health care is best! :)

Not at all but Senator Palin is smart enough to know that us rubes have access to all modern technology and procedures .
As well despite our problems our system is among the best in the world regarding trauma and emergency care .
Once again the Senator proves she is and was worthy .

Your post is a fusion of nonsequiters with circular reasoning to achieve a logical fallacy.

Health care in Canada is not quite the Boondoggle that it is with Obamacare....first, it was implemented gradually, then, it's a shared program controlled by the province, with financial help from the federal government, in the form of transfer payments, if certain criteria are met ....

I think one of the main problems with socialized healthcare is the perception of most people that it reduces costs for the individual............of course, it doesn't, just evens it out a little so we are not all of sudden being presented with $10,000 bills payable immediately. There is only one source of money...............the people.

True, but the govt can also curtail outrageous fees with caps.

And if a certain procedure or drug is not on the approved list....you have to pay out of pocket and only generic drugs are approved.

I've always understood that the formula for generic drugs is exact the same as the formula for the brand name and the only difference is the price. Have I been led astray about this all these years?

I used the term "generic" when I should have used accepted drugs...
Part of the health care system in Ontario is the provincial drug plan called "Trillium".... If you are under 65 it is based on your total family income....
When I retired, the company was providing me with medical and drug insurance for a modest fee...when 9/11 happened insurance rates started climbing at an alarming rate it got to a point when I turned 62 that the monthly insurance rates were higher than the yearly deductible on the income based trillium plan divided by 12.

Sorry for the misrepresentation of Governor Palin but I am sure she would make a better senator than her running mate .

For the record i signed up for Obamacare (What's referred to as Platinum Level) last night and I am saving $110 a month.

That being said, The law didn't have to be this complex, I can only hope the idiots in Congress can get together and do the right thing.

Nothing new with this. She admitted during her campaigning that her family had been using Canadian healthcare as far back as the 60's. Apparently her parents could see the border from their porch and had no problem jumping across it to use a better service.
