In case you haven't noticed the cartoons and stuff, this thread is a light-hearted, playful type thread. :) Serious Obama bashing goes on elsewhere.

So can we all please remember that the president is someone who the cameras follow all the time.
All people make mistajkes now and again.
when a president makes a mistake it becomes news and can destroy public view only because people forget this.

Pick on Presidents for policies. Not mistaken hand shakes or pronunciations.
Presidents and Prime Ministers are just puppets, placed in the public eye so the great unwashed think they live in a democracy while the real movers and shakers run the show from the side line. Our political leaders are put there for the public to ridicule and they get very well paid to do their job as scapegoats for the ruling class.

lol In spite of all this tyranny and oppression, I have a pretty happy life.

Do you actually believe the tripe you type?

You evidently don't understand sarcasm when you see it.

Well we didn't get this one right and that is obvious.

Well, you got it right twice by electing Bush, he converted USA into a regular Republican Utopia. what more do you want? But I assume you want a perpetual Republican rule in USA, pretty much as many conservatives want a perpetual Conservative rule in USA.

Well, have patience. Utopia may be coming in 2012 or 2016.

Well, isn't almost every Democrat a Communist or a Muslim, according to most Republicans? Republicans form their views by listening to hate propaganda by Limbaugh and his likes.

Is it any wonder many of them believe that Obama is a Muslim terrorist? Teabaggers say so, Obama hater say so, Limbaugh says so. What more proof do they need?

I am not sure where you get your figures, but I personally do not know anyone who listens to Limbaugh, of course we know of him but usually get our news about what he says from the left who seem to monitor his every word.

I got this specific information from you. You say you understand or know how Americans think because you spent a few college years here. You really don't, just because we dislike one politician or another does not mean we hate them or want harm to come to them. People with a European style mentality cannot seem to understand that. Obama is our President and will be till atleast the end of his term. He has not shown strong leadership, (cannot or will not make a snap decision, then resorts to forming a committee which takes time). He cannot react to a emergency situation. You can look at his response's to Afghanistan, storms in Arkansas, Nashville floods and the oil spill. Always either nothing or to late.

Yep, no question.

A nation of over 300 million can't produce one decent leader.
I agree we messed up this time, but we will get passed it. 2012 is fast coming up.

Well that's a matter of opinion and from you it is pretty much what I would expect.

Why?

Whats wrong with DDE?

Who do you feel was the last great president?

I agree we messed up this time, but we will get passed it. 2012 is fast coming up.

This time?

You messed up the last three times for sure.

The similarities between Bush and Obama are staggering.

The only decent member of his cabinet is the one who should be president today....I'd never though I'd say this but Hillary has been impressive as Secretary of State.

I did not say that is how Americans think, ironsides. I said that is how Obama haters, the right wing of the Republican part,y the teabaggers, the Limbaugh dittoheads think. No doubt average Americans thinks just the way you have described.

Same pattern used by Nazis when they attacked Jews. Every imaginary enemy whether Catholic, Protestant, or whatever was a Jew to them. Like their American counterparts, they do not give even the slightest evidence to prove their claims. Not a shred of difference among those haters.

Nothing was wrong with Dwight. I feel Reagan was a good President and in hindsight I think Clinton was a good President. Bush Sr. was a good President as well IMO. Perhaps a little out of touch with the people though.

I said great president not good.

Clinton was alright, I agree. Reagan and Bush not so much, they tripled the national debt and let the Taliban take control of Afghanistan.

Although like Obama Reagan was a great speech giver and was the first to use a teleprompter...you know...the thing that is suddenly taboo.

Have a good one.

Reagan started Conservatives on the decades long journey of borrow and spend. Since Republicans idolized Reagan and Reagan espoused borrow and spend, most of the Republican leaders have been following in his footsteps since then.

In my opinion, Reagan is not only responsible for the debt and deficit created by him, but also that created by Bush one and Bush two. Reagan made the debt and the deficit fashionable among conservatives.

And they are counterbalanced by those who think the guy is some sort of messiah. The rational people are somewhere between.

I wouldn't go so far as to say good, but rather decent.

......... in your opinion.
My beef with Reagan is mostly from a foreign relations POV. El Salvador, Nicaragua, etc. were freakin messes. Then there was the deep communist paranoia that supposed if Grenada were to join with Cuba, the USA would be under dire threat. lmao Reagan also fertilized the cold war with the USSR. He escalated nuclear armament.
etc
etc
etc

Methinks I see a double standard - Reagan who had a multitude of beneficial accomplishments is ridiculed for the debt he amassed; Trudeau who amassed a more horrendous debt than Reagan is nobelized for the Charter....................:lol::lol:
