Goober: Are you saying that all these military installations in Iraq will be emptied ???

List of United States Army installations in Iraq - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Of course I want all the troops out of there so Iraq can establish its own identity and future. It has the resources to become a very wealthy country.

But I cannot believe that the empire is going to leave all these installations empty.

If I am wrong.....I will happily buy you an E-Drink.;-) at an E-Bar.

(as far as a burkha is concerned. From what I have seen , the fashion industry is taking a page from that style and making it exotic.

I realize that, your estimate is about 800,000 short of the ones that did get killed, true refugees are more than 4,000,000.

thanks for the corrections. GRIM to say the least.8O:-:)-(

thanks. I have read both those items and others. I could be wrong...but I think the troops that are leaving Iraq are the ground troops and I have yet to find an article that says anything about the future of the Military bases there now. I just cannot see them building so many installations.......just to vacate them. I know that in their eyes, money grows on trees, but that would really be rediculous.

BUT.........I hope that you are right and that ALL troops, including those from the installations are removed from Iraq. Mind you , the plans for them in other areas are already made.

:-(Vicious Triangle Forming Against Iran

By Ismail Salami

November 05, 2011 "
Press TV" -- In recent days, there has been a vociferous interest in Israel, the US and the UK in fanning the flames of Iranophobia in what observers see as a political red herring to engage in a catastrophic war in the Middle East.

The trio, which constitute a vicious triangle in their roguishly Iranophobic endeavors, have manifestly held secret meetings among the top security officials and formed a united front against Iran.

A recent report by The Guardian has revealed that British Chief of Defense Staff Gen. David Richards visited Tel Aviv secretly during the week, held a number of meetings with top Israeli military and intelligence officials and reassured them of Britain's unwavering support in case of an attack on Iran's nuclear sites. Further to that, the British officials revealed that the US government was mulling accelerating plans for targeted attacks on the country's nuclear sites and that Britain was prepared to be part of the plan for a possible attack.

As I mentioned the easiest way to cripple Iran is take out their oil and gas production. That and their naval ability which is puny outside of some diesel subs - But they can only stay down for so long - once they are engines running - Boom - air force is crap.

Would those be the same diesel subs that North Korea used to sneak around (undetected) while the US and South Korea were staging naval exercises with their latest and greatest equipment?

You might want to update yourself as your info seems to be pre-1979.

All the bases and most of the equipment will be left behind for Iraq's to use. On paper they will be one of the strongest countries in the area. (government is another concern)

Most of that is equipment etc from Iraq - They have to be out by end year.

What an ideal place for storage? Right next to Iran. If they launched the attack from Saudi sands it wouldn't look too good for the Saudis to be supporting Israel and USA would it?

Nope. Can't have the Saudis take any heat. They are ****ing angels.

Syria and Iran: The Great Game

Regime change in Syria is a strategic prize that outstrips Libya – which is why Saudi Arabia and the west are playing their part

By Alastair Crooke

November 05, 2011 "
The Guardian" -- This summer a senior Saudi official told John Hannah, Dick Cheney's former chief of staff, that from the outset of the upheaval in Syria, the king has believed that regime change would be highly beneficial to Saudi interests: "The king knows that other than the collapse of the Islamic Republic itself, nothing would weaken Iran more than losing Syria."
This is today's "great game" – losing Syria. And this is how it is played: set up a hurried transitional council as sole representative of the Syrian people, irrespective of whether it has any real legs inside Syria; feed in armed insurgents from neighbouring states; impose sanctions that will hurt the middle classes; mount a media campaign to denigrate any Syrian efforts at reform; try to instigate divisions within the army and the elite; and ultimately President Assad will fall – so its initiators insist.

Israel Set to Attack Over Iran Nuclear Risk

By The Australian

November 07, 2011 "
The Australian" - ISRAELI President Shimon Peres has warned that an attack on Iran was "more and more likely," ahead of tomorrow's release of a report by the UN nuclear watchdog, which is expected to say Tehran has tested nuclear triggering technology and modified ballistic missiles to carry nuclear warheads.

Desperate to get something going before the US pulls out of Iraq. That would give the US the needed excuse to stay in Iraq and keep control of the bases even if it is a 'buffer' to keep Iran from retaliating should Israel launch the missiles they themselves just recently tested, whether they are from their own design or another 'gift' from the US is a moot subject.

Syria does have working S-300 systems and even if they did not launch they could certainly track the launches in time to warn Iran.

Israeli PTSD will bring the world to a stop. **** it wee'lll disperse ourselves to other planets and hide from them.

The same day Israel will attack Iran is the last day Israel will collect taxes. The obligation to protect the Israeli/Judaic part of our JudeoChristian heritage is the solemn duty and privilage of NATO and anyone else who eats with private bankers. Those nations that make up the free democratic west will sacrifice their sons and daughters by the millions to crush the evil other, who ever and where ever the evil other puts roots. Iran today Syria tomorrow Canada next year.

That is why it is essential that Israel does a preemptive strike and destroy Iran's nuclear capability before they islamic nutbars start tossing nukes around the middle east.

Israel test fires missile that can hit Iran

JERUSALEM - Israel successfully test-fired on Wednesday a missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead and striking Iran, fanning a public debate over whether the country's leaders are agitating for a military attack on Tehran's atomic facilities.
While Israeli leaders have long warned that a military strike was an option, the most intensive round of public discourse on the subject was ignited over the weekend by a report in the Yediot Ahronot newspaper that said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak favor an attack.
That was followed by a report in the Haaretz daily Wednesday that Netanyahu is now lobbying Cabinet members for an attack, despite the complexity of the operation and the high likelihood it would draw a deadly retaliation from Iran. An Israeli official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was discussing a sensitive policy discussion, said Netanyahu does not yet have a majority.
An Israeli defense official told The Associated Press that the military tested a "rocket propulsion system" in an exercise planned long ago. He spoke on condition of anonymity because of security restrictions, and declined to give further information.

Israel attacked Egypt as soon as it had perfected the 'art' of bombing runways, a procedure deemed necessary from a 1965 paper on who to fight and win a war against Egypt. The taking no prisoners was also part of that planned war, kill anybody trying to surrender so your own troops were free to move onto the next phase of the pre-planned war. The pilots reporting surrenders is the reason the Liberty was attacked.
