Fox is not a mouthpiece for the Republican party, it's a money making business that will cater to whatever audience they feel will generate the most advertising revenue.

If the owners feel that the right wing 'needs' a mouthpiece, they'll be it if it means ad revenues.

I think you're right (excuse the expression) and the addition of Sarah is a business decision. Probably a good one...she seems to generate a lot of attention no matter what she does or says. ("No such thing as bad publicity"...P.T. Barnum)

I'm sure a lot of the left will tune in for a good laugh. American friends of mine think she will provide endless fodder for the Daily Show. And she will probably make more money at FOX than she would as a runner up for the presidency. I think it is a win/win situation for everyone.

Quite so Cliffy. But what this means is that she is essentially out of the race for 2012 nomination. There is no way she can hold down a job and do the necessary networking, fundraising etc. to mount a credible nomination campaign.

So this may well signify the end of her involvement in politics, just that her acolytes have not realized it yet.

It must be a sad day for you.

It may surprise some people but, I would actually like to meet Palin. That's because she's a goofball -- just like me. We goofies are kinda attracted to one another.

There are 82.5 million other Americans who are also mothers. The author of that piece may have been overwhelmed by how hard it is to do that which is natural...But palin is certainly not a stand-out simply because she's a mom. She may be a great mom, and that's nothing to sneeze at. It's not the best answer for "Why do you deserve this job?"

An article about Sarah Palin's brain. Ad hominem attackers at the ready....go.

Yes, about Palin. She resoundingly lost the straw poll among the conservatives. Ron Paul was first, and horror of horrors, Mitt Romney was second (Joan of Arc acolytes regard Romney as practically an anti-Christ).

Joan of Arc got a miserable 7 % votes, and this among the right wing extremists, who are supposedly her acolytes.

Personally, I think she is finished as far as 2012 is concerned. Too bad, I was so looking forward to the match between her and Obama.

She should have entered the Olympics if she wants attention. Oh, I forgot there isn't an event for moose shooting.

No, but if it was on ice in a pair of skates it might "fly".:lol::lol::lol:
