Q: Why did Antarctic sea ice hit a record high this year? A: Answer: Because it was very cold.

Ha! ...because it was very cold...hahahahahahahahaha....*whew*

Didn't you just post that the reason for the loss of Arctic Sea Ice was due to wind or something? C'mon deniers--try to at least be consistent with your stories!!!!

I'll give you this for consistency.... Each time you are asked to substantiate something, the response is to call someone a denier.

How compelling.

Well, if the shoe fits. On the plus side, you get promoted to "skeptic" once you put forward an internally consistent argument.

extent growth attributed to stronger winds and slightly fresher sea surface water around the margins of the continent’s melting ice shelves... you do know the difference between extent and volume/mass, right? You do know that Antarctic sea-ice almost completely melts annually, right?

ANd the AGW crowd uses what? Localized weather reports and self made computer models.
BTW how was that cruise through the ice free arctic this summer? Any better than the one in 2008 where everyone got frostbite?

Same old Same old TS. Weather can only used when it is used to support their buffoonery.

I don't know what "AGW crowd" you're referring to... given how vocal you are on this subject, I would have thought you would know the distinction between climate and weather.

I believe you previously said something about an Arctic ice-free prediction. I do believe I asked for details on the who/what made the predictions you refered/refer to... I don't recall getting any response. I'll ask you again... waiting.

I'm aware of a couple of predictions made by single persons in that regard. I'm not sure how you would feel so emboldened to take a couple of predictions, from single persons of no particular consequence, and run with them... repeatedly run with them... as some reflection on the greater "AGW crowd" (as you say).

a localized weather comparison? Really?

For sure, probably within spitting distance of Old Faithful, nothing mentioned about Cheyenne, Casper or Laramie!:)

I think we have to be a little careful about this, Taxslave. No doubt man's contribution to Climate Warming is overdone, but we don't want to lose sight that the human animal is definitely a contributor to some extent, but we don't want to get bit in the A$$ later because we totally ignored it. Erring on the side of caution in this case isn't going to do us much harm.

Geeezus Keyriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiist Walter! What have I said there that anyone could possibly disagree with? :):):):)
