House Stenographer Has Meltdown During Vote On Shutdown
The house stenographer tonight had a meltdown and ran to a microphone and began yelling on the floor of the House of Representatives tonight.

According to the CBC the govt. is gonna open, and the debt ceiling is gonna be raised again. Just now read it, and we know we can trust the CBC.

You keep saying the same thing but never answer why living within ones mean is a bad thing.
From what I can gather from the morning news, their dilemma has been postponed for about 90 days. A little early to break out the champagne isn't it?
I think to report accurately they lost the battle - reality and belt tightening has been postponed for 90 days. Why is it people have such a hard time wrapping their minds around "you can't spend money you ain't got"? It's a very simple concept.............beans and macaroni for the next little while!
For those that live in a world where the expectation is that gvt is the all-knowing and all-seeing provider of a lifestyle, there is no such thing as living within your means.
These are the same people that believe the electricity comes from a switch on the wall and natural gas originates from a thermostat beside the furnace.

Right from the mouths of Republicans how Cruz, Rubio and the other one led them down the road with no plan.
Promises and rhetoric of "he will cave" but again no plan when he did not.
Now we will see if each side can negotiate cuts to programs and increases in revenues.
I was referring to after the initial shutdown when asked what is the plan forward- They had none.
They did have a plan. It was based on curtailing the Democrats out of control spending and acquisition of debt.
In the end, the ONLY thing that the Dems accomplished is a few months of deferrals in paying their bills and doing something other than printing more cash and borrowing more money to pay for things that generate no long-term return.
The message here is that this entire circumstance is far too complicated such that a comprehensive and well-thought plan is not going to be the result of a couple of guys solving this problem over a few beers
And if he does? The GOP will vote no outright. This was about tacking on de-funding the ACA to the budget. Obama and the Dems said you can't do that.
I hope he does choose it next... that will squash his momentum.

The Democrats are successfully building a solid base of voters who are 100% dependent on government for all their needs. Not just basic needs but leisure as well. Everything provided with plenty of room to exploit a welfare system that is so easily manipulated and open to fraud. A fully funded middle class lifestyle for doing nothing but vote.
So after all the fuss, the Democrats still got exactly what they wanted.
And the Republican party now has their lowest approval rating in recorded history.
