When are you converting to Islam? Not the kind of company I'd like to be included in.
Can I bring the kids to the ceremony?
Does SCB have to wear a burqa?
If so you tell her. I like breathing to much.
When are you converting to Islam? Not the kind of company I'd like to be included in.
Hey, give it a break. Now if they had been building the mosque 3 blocks away, it would have been fine, but not 2:lol:
When are you converting to Islam?
We're all a little hypocritical Ton...Never. I'm not religious at all, but I'm also opposed to hypocrisy.
So am I, but I still don't think I would put a Casino on Greasy Grass Creek though. I'm as put off at the fact that there is, as much as I'm put off by a Mosque near the WTC site.I'm all for free speech, and for liberty in a general form, beyond just speech and expression.
Pheeeewww!!!So, really I'm the wrong person to ask that type of question. It might have more effect on those with something in common with extremist Muslims who do wish to deny others their liberty.
You can breath easy Bear![]()
We're all a little hypocritical Ton.
I always end up pulling a "Lenny" and squish the little things, while I hug them and squeeze them.No doubt. I try to save mine for the little things.
Just because the nutcases allegedly responsible for the 9/11 claim to have religion on their side, doesn't mean its true. It would be like banning the building of a Catholic Church because of the some Catholic clergy's child abuse.
I'd also like to point out that many 9/11 victims were Muslim:

Muslim Victims of Terrorist Attack, September 11, 2001
The ADL is mostly concerned about anti-semiticism, not Islamaphobia.
What we have in the OP, is society's boundless addiction to political correctness............;-)
What did I tell you about everybody's little hypocrisies?Isn't it politically incorrect? Minimizing offense (politically correct by any definition) would be to bow to the tugging heart strings of the victims of 9/11 wouldn't it? Preventing the legitimate use of land because it is offensive to some group is the very definition of politically correct...
I'm just saying, well I didn't actually just say it, but I've noticed a shift in what is politically correct. It's used as a pejorative far more often by those with a conservative bent, and it seems to be kind of a catch all at times.
George Jonas: A strange way to promote ?understanding? | Full Comment | National PostSimple solution: Ban all religious activities within a ten block radius of the WTC and all nutcases should be equally PO. That should be politically correct.
It seemed that int the last few decades P C had been on the rise but only in one direction.....If you ranted against bible thumping Christian fundamentalists...everything was OK....but say anything against muslim extremists in general or anything deregatory against muhammad and you were identified as a conservative right wing nutjob that deserved to have a fatwa declared against him or at the very least be investigated by the HRC.
If one goes by the polls in NYC ....the pendulum might be swingning the other way...
It may take a while for mainstream media to catch up:lol:
Do you think the building location is in good taste as they say.
Do you think it will still the waters of religious differences or increase the differences -
Do you think the Iman stating that the US brought 911 upon them will be taken lightly
Do you think that the Saudi money behind this goes over well
TORONTO – The Muslim Canadian Congress (MCC) is urging the Cordoba House Initiative to abandon its proposed Ground-Zero Mosque in New York in the face of outrage expressed by large segments of the American population calling the proposal an act of 'fitna' or mischief.
