Yes, I admire him because he has the intestinal fortitude to stand up for what he believes in and if you have an issue with that, that says a lot about YOU!! The world doesn't revolve around just you, (fortunately). The facts are that Ottawa is CANADA'S CAPITAL CITY so where where they supposed to "protest"? Timbucktoo? Don't be an ass ok?
But there was no such thing , you were a member of the Canadian Forces . But thank you for your service . S&R is a necessary service in our sparsely populated country . Spent more than one night tromping through the bush searching for lost souls back in the day . Always missed the helicopter rides due to wrong place right time .

Good that you admire him. Says a lot about you too. Says a lot of the RCMP officer too...he just does not like Trudeau and that is his right but, he should have quit his duties and tranfered away for his protective detail long ago.....or was he just waiting to get his 20 in for pension purposes? Seems he was a bit hypocritical, not liking his duties and staying on.
As for protesting, seems you forgot what the initial; protest was....against border restrictions. Yes Ottawa has some but, even if Ottawa lifted them, they still have no entry into the US.
What the protest became is against all other restrictions, none of which are under the control of the Feds. Protest where the control is, not where it isn't LOL Places like Timbuktoronto, or Timbukwinnipg, or Timbukquebeccity or Timukvictoria. LOL
If calling me names satisfies your frustration or self worth, by all means have at it. If realizing what the protest has become, who in fact is damaged by it, then you may grow as a person.
So don't be self righteous just because you don't like what others have to say, or as you say, don't be an ass OK?

No they did not make there point , no member of the government or bureaucract met with the protesters including civil politicians and police leadership . How can you suggest they made their point . They have been vilified from every corner and you say they made their point . Shake your head .
