You know what I hate about Ann Coulter, besides the fact that she look like a transsexual zombie, is that people think she speaks for the right and she doesn't. Nor does Pat Robertson or that other nut cake Michael Savage. Ann Coulter is an entertainer, who makes a lot of money pissing people off, but she does it for one reason and one reason only. $MONEY$

She loves being a lightening rod. It sells books.

I think you are about 75% correct.......

but are missing one point: she is very often dead-on.

I kinda like Ann, although God knows I don't always agree with her.

Oh, and I like skinny blondes.

Well, I guess if she's making money that way, there are lots of other people who are just as stupid as she is!

11:08PM: The Time America Lost A Piece Of Her Soul

*11:08PM: The Time America Lost A Piece Of Her Soul** : Russell Simmons:** Information Clearing House News

The only question that remains is why was it not televised so the public could watch what it so vengefully supports........and cheer it on.

after all, when society sinks this low .....there is not much further it can go. The lynch mob , killer mentality would relish seeing this "kill" on the TV. The ratings would go right off the radar.

If anyone thinks that this barbarism brings closure, they are wrong.......as murdering another human being under the guise of "justice" is not something that brings peace. in one's soul. Unless one is a cold psychopath ,

Barbarism to deal with the barbarism of the accused and convicted just reduces the society to a primitive level that should be abhored.

Why is it you only seem to be able to see and comment on American barbarism?

While you either ignore or excuse barbarism by Muslim extremists?

I'm 78% sure he was 100% guilty.

The issue is NOT his guilt or innocence. (not guilty ). He was convicted in a court of law. The issue is the "penalty" . It is too much like an eye for an eye etc etc. ( a life for a life). What exactly does that achieve?? Make room for the next criminal on death row?? Save the taxpayers money?? Revenge??? Will it deter such behavior in the present and future?? Of course not. Anyone prone to kill , will do so. (and then hope he /she has Casey Anthony's lawyer to defend them)

being a social outcast is far worse than death. Just think. He no longer has to put up with prison life. and abuses. He no longer has to deal with being reminded of his crime , and how it affected his family. IF he felt remorse / guilt ...... that too is gone....as he is dead and gone. (and has nothing to fear anymore) In a bizarre way.........death frees such a person from himself.

The US society has a very high Kill instinct. Be it for war, revenge, or whatever motive. It has come to define the "american" society.

but as they all seem to like it this way........not much anyone can do........except stay away from that country .

(the title is not totally accurate...........as america lost its soul when it supported a elective invasion based on bald assed lies and has deteriorated further since then. again........that KILL FACTOR.

Isn't that what 9/11 was?

Eye for an eye?

You seem to take issue with the philosophy, but you in others threads you condone and excuse it?

Are you aware of this hypocrisy?

At least they are not saddled with supporting the likes of Olson, Bernardo and Picton for 30-50 years at taxpayers expense. Sort of like "spring house cleaning"

This is pretty funny. Some in Texas want to stop the last meal choice privilege, especially after this guy ordered all this food and didn't eat it lol.

"It is extremely inappropriate to give a person sentenced to death such a privilege. One which the perpetrator did not provide to their victim," Whitmire wrote.

The Democrat, who represents Houston and parts of north Harris County, said "enough is enough" after Lawrence Russell Brewer ordered two chicken fried steaks smothered in gravy with sliced onions, a triple-meat bacon cheeseburger, a cheese omelet with other ingredients, a large bowl of fried okra with ketchup, three fajitas, a pint of Blue Bell ice cream and a pound of barbecue with a half-loaf of white bread. The meal request also included a slab of peanut butter fudge with crushed peanuts, a pizza and three root beers.

Brewer declined to eat the last meal Wednesday, said Texas Department of Criminal Justice spokesman Jason Clark.

Kind of makes sense, this food could be fed to someone in a third world country who might have a chance to live. What is the use of wasting it on someone who doesn't even have time to digest it?
You could almost feed the entire 3rd world with his order.
