I googled oil sands reclamation and could find little to nothing to improve upon my figures. I did find this article posted by the petroleum industry. I found the graph most interesting. See if you can spot the thin blue line that has been certified reclaimed by the Alerta government. Land Reclamation - Canada's Oil Sands

Got it, you looked at the pictures. If you had read the words you would have seen that certification comes after the work is complete and a monitoring period of up to fifteen years has taken place. Given that most of the mining areas up there are still active and many of the major players have just entered the game in the last decade or so, it's premature to be judging the success of reclamation at this point. The two big operators that have been running for some time, Suncor and Syncrude who went into production in the late sixties and late seventies respectively, are responsible for just about all of the completed reclamation to date, roughly ten percent of the total mining footprint. Much of this is presently classified as "permanent reclamation" (the green stripe on the graph), meaning the reclamation work is complete and the land is now in the monitoring stage.

Buddy has zero interest in researching anything that would challenge his preconceived notions or worse, confirm what you stated is accurate.

... This is the standard greentard move that assures the tard-in-question will always find results which support their desired ideals

People also need to realize that reclaimation starts as soon as the property is staked.

Examples can be recycling water, using lubricants and greases in machinery that are more environmentally friendly or using newly developed extraction methods.etc etc etc

The attitude in industry is changing a lot quicker than the attitudes of people who are quick to judge industry.

Guess it never occurred to you that the majority of the land is still being used did it? Then again the government you claim is certifying it is no where in the same country as the oilsands. Keep trying, eventually you may just get something right.

I like Shell!

Nah at that age dumps come un announced
I can bet the farm,Jane knows her body very well

Fat chicks are a little more riskier

Who has time for Fort Mac?

Write her a letter,
Any kind of letter will do
Writing letters was a passion of mine, still think about writing those letters of interest but have not done forever
I love stamps that was part of the joy,I love pento paper, someday I will have a new desk
My favourite letters were live letters or letters of affection
Lots were lobbying letters,
But definitely heart felt letters were my favourite and in stumbling times my regrets
I think I may write Jane a love letter

Love letters

Given the history of the oil industry when it comes to the environment I tend to be a little skeptical when it comes to claims of reclamation. However, I would be very pleased to be proved wrong in the case of the tar sands.

Your mother did you no favors of etiquette, either had your father
You sound like you are in grade 10

Do you want me to iron your shirt,my apologies I don't iron or minimal

Is "old" any more of an insult than "elderly"? A 99 year old woman might find "elderly" insulting! :)
Mature is a good respectful word if you are seeking a good description

Oh, well said. Insulting the elderly by calling them old. Does that apply to your parents as well?
Yes it applies to your parents,I reinforce to my children I am elderly, hence code word I don't want to hear it

Yup only a Canadian in name .

I was concerned about his mouth, not his nationality. :) :) Our oil sands are an asset and will be for years to come, albeit there's a lot of "housekeeping" required.
Yuppers without Alberta's oilsand monies how would Quebec pay for child care ?

Given the level of your obvious bias and willful ignorance, I tend to be more than a little skeptical you will ever be able to acknowledge the extensive effort being carried out regarding reclamation in the oil sands.

As mentioned previously, the process takes up to 15 years to attain certification. You seem to be disputing the legitimacy of the planting of over 8 million trees by one single company in less than 10 years because some bureaucrat hasn't completed the final inspection and paperwork. Dismissing all of the work completed and progress made the way you are is disingenuous and is nothing more than trying to rationalize delusional thinking.

I am sure there is 39 years of housekeeping to keep on
First order
Fire the NEB, and Alberta Energy Board, any old cobwebs who are related to these regulatory agencies of fakeness, these wh ore boards should be kicked to the curb like garbage, old names ,old thinkers, idiots who stick around and don't believe in mentoring, there is no way for myself I could I ever have much belief and confidence in regulatory agencies such as the NEB or AEUB,I audited some ugly places where they inhabited and fuelled bad behaviour, disgusting true!
Suncor should have a big own path of their own, these agencies do them no favours,
Then again this auditing was a long time ago,I know nothing of changes or Suncor either
Canadians deserve at least a bit of this ,
