In Operation Cast Lead, the Israelis responded to rocket attacks on their country by blasting the crap out of Gaza for 22 days. In those attacke, somewhere around 1400 people were killed. One half of them were militants, effectively crippling the Hamas military wing for a goodly period, as admitted by Hamas officials.

Now, a minor bit of research will show that the death rate of innocent civilians to combatants in modern war is expected to be about 10:1 . As awful as that is, it is a fact. The Israelis, with some of the most powerful weapons on earth, managed to keep that ration down to 1:1 through exceptional care and caution for civilian lives.

Explain to me why the Palestinians are so F$#@ing stupid. Years ago the Israeli abandoned Gaza, FORCIBLY TAKING THEIR SETTLERS WITH THEM. They made it very clear that if there was a good reaction to that move, they planed to do the same in the West Bank.

All the Palestinians had to do was sit back, reoccupy land vacated by Israeli settlers (art IDF gunpoint, remember) and be cool.........to be handed a de facto nation.

Instead they smashed everything the Jews left behind in an orgy of hatred, and proceeded to use Gaza as a launch point for attacks on Israel.

STUPID.

And the so-called "Palestinians" had better snap to and establish peace with Israel quickly........Israel is becoming increasingly isolated and surrounded by Islamist states........and if they get into a position where they have to deal with threats much larger than the mosquito bites of the Gazans.......look out.

While the IDF moved out of Gaza they still control anything that goes in and out of there by land and air. They still hold control over land not belonging to them. Palestinians should not be under control of a foreign entity and must gain independence by any means necessary.
Many of the Palestinians are living in atrocious conditions and have seen family members as well as friends murdered by Israel, they are justified in any violent actions towards Israel..

The Israeli's didn't flock to unoccupied land during the 40s. It was occupied by Arabs.
From there Arabs have been losing their homes and kicked from the land they live ever since. It's interesting you seemingly have a belief that whites have more right to land over Arab peoples despite that it was the Arabs there first.
Nowadays when some nutjob Israeli tries to explain their rights to the land they will ramble about the bible and how god gave them those rights. There are also some Israeli's who know what is happening to the Palestinians is wrong and wouldn't dare justify their land grab. At this point they just want a peaceful solution.
