  • Clintons did not join the Democratic boycott and she rebuked those who did on Twitter
  • They couldn't muster a smile as they arrived at the Capitol - and in the crowd there were 'lock her up' shouts
  • Clinton and Trump did not shake hands during the ceremony but she exchanged greeting with Mike Pence
  • She later came face-to-face with the new president inside the Capitol building at the inaugural lunch
  • Husband Bill helped her put on a plastic poncho as rain began to fall at the Capitol

Her incentive being that Bill is an ex Pres? She did not have to turn up for Billy or anyone. That she did so, I thought was pretty darn fine of her. She might have stayed at home like all the wimpy other Dems but she sucked it up and went.
