Sexual assault is extremely difficult to prove, so not pursuing the claim does not prove a false claim.

That said, a claim of assault does not prove assault either.

With that, I'll make no judgement on either side.

An unreported sexual assault is just plain wrong. It harms other women.

I think that you spend far too much time there, Cliffy. I would expect to see pictures like that posted by 10 year old kids. I hope that you get the help you need soon.

Soiling Himself and Us

It just happens to be the easiest way to get video content onto CC. I don't spend my time on Youtube, I just run across some interesting stuff when researching topics from multiple sources.
Your graphics are spot on. Heard today that more and more psychologists and psychiatrists are voicing their concerns about Trump's mental state. The truly amazing thing is the mental status of his supporters. They exhibit extremism and fanaticism...... in their blind support. They have bought into the devotion and loyalty that Trump demands from them Do they not realize that this is how dictators work?/ They demand and expect absolute loyalty......... If they feel betrayed .. they react with aggression .......in this case verbal. and inciting violence. and /or getting revenge one way or another.

Trump is right about one thing.......he can shoot someone at noon on fifty avenue and his loyalists will still support him / excuse his behavior. It is like the most pathological co dependency relationship .....and they would do violence for Trump. (like aggressively remove the press from a rally)

U.S. denies visas for Afghanistan’s all-girl robotics team

By Amanda Erickson July 2

It's not easy to get robotics equipment through customs in Afghanistan, but that didn't deter this plucky bunch.
For months, a team of six teenage girls has been scrambling to build a ball-sorting robot that will compete in an international competition. Other teams received their raw materials in March. But the box sent from America had been held up for months amid concerns about terrorism. So the young engineers improvised, building motorized machines from household materials.
They didn't have time to waste if they were going to compete in the FIRST Global Challenge, an international robotics competition to be held in Washington, D.C., this month. Young teams from around the world face off against each other, in an effort to engage people in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math).
To participate, the girls from the city of Herat in western Afghanistan needed permission to travel to the United States. So, after they persuaded their parents to let them go, they made the 500-mile journey to the U.S. Embassy in Kabul to apply for their visas. They did this twice, even though that location was targeted by a deadly truck bomb. Things seemed to be lining up. But then the team got some bad news: Their visa applications had been denied. Roya Mahboob, who founded Citadel software company in Afghanistan and was the country's first female technology chief executive, is one of the team's sponsors. When the girls heard the news, she said, “they were crying all the day.”
“The first time [they were rejected] it was very difficult talking with the students,” Mahboob told Mashable. “They're young and they were very upset.”
Fourteen-year-old Fatemah told Forbes, “We want to show the world we can do it; we just need a chance.”

On their competition page, the girls wrote:
We want to make a difference, and most breakthroughs in science, technology, and other industries normally start with the dream of a child to do something great. We want to be that child and pursue our dreams to make a difference in peoples' lives.
The State Department does not comment on specific visa denials. According to recent State Department records, it's particularly hard to get a business travel visa from Afghanistan. Just 112 were granted in May 2017; 780 visas were issued to visitors from Iraq and 4,067 from Pakistan.
FIRST Global president and former congressman Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) was disappointed by the news and frustrated that the “extraordinarily brave young women” won't be able to travel to the United States and instead will have to watch their robot compete via Skype. Teams from Iraq, Iran and Sudan will be at the competition.
Mahboob is frustrated, but she still thinks the teenagers can serve as an inspiration for others. “In Afghanistan, as you know it’s a very man-dominated industry,” Mahboob said, according to Newsweek. “The girls, they’re showing at a young age that they can build something.”

Good. Teach 'em American values.

Actually, probably just as well they're not coming. They won't have to endure Trumpchumps endlessly sniggering over the name "Mahboob."
Teach them 'american values"?? Which ones??

I don't like him but it is hilarious to kick back and watch the mounting mass psychosis of his opponents who are confused by all the media lies as they get dismantled one by one.

Trump is just gloating by teasing those who are ardent haters and those who don't know what to believe anymore.

Right, a man who wanders around the White House late at night sending off incoherent tweets is just teasing. It should be clear by now that the man lacks the with for an intelligent or clever response.

What an act, eh, behaving like a mentally ill person. What a clever man! He's good at it, too. He has most of us convinced that he's madder than a March Hare. He just toying with us.

President Donald Trump has proposed eliminating heating aid for low-income Americans, claiming it's no longer necessary and rife with fraud. People needn't worry about being left in the cold, he says, because utilities cannot cut off customers in the dead of winter.

But he is wrong on all counts.

The heating program provides a critical lifeline for people like Perkins, and officials close to the program don't see any widespread fraud. Guidelines for winter shutoffs by utilities vary from state to state and don't apply to heating oil, a key energy source in the bitter New England winter.

"It's beyond my thinking that anyone could be that cruel," said Perkins, a retired restaurateur who relies on the program to keep warm in Ogunquit, Maine.

The proposal to kill the program, which has distributed $3.4 billion to about 6 million households this fiscal year, will face strong opposition in Congress.

Forty-three senators from mostly cold-weather states already signed a letter urging the Republican chairman and ranking Democrat on the Appropriations Committee to ensure funding for the Low-Income Energy Assistance Program, known in many states by its acronym, LIHEAP.

In Maine, the poorest state in New England, the program helped nearly 77,000 people over the past winter, and those numbers represented less than a quarter of eligible households, said Deborah Turcotte of MaineHousing, which helps to run the program.

Perkins is a typical recipient.

His income was fine 10-12 years ago when he retired, but gasoline, food and other expenses grew faster than he anticipated. In the winter, he keeps an eye on his oil storage tank, and the local community action agency sends 100 gallons when it gets low.

It's difficult for him to keep warm because he's on a blood thinner, and he shudders at the thought of being cold. But he doesn't want to move south, either.

"I was born and raised here," he said. "Maine is part of me. I can't imagine living anywhere else."

And the end game is to convince many people that everything you read is a lie, so there is no objective truth. They've already convinced many people this is the case, so they're well on their way.

The people opposing him (Trump ) are NOT psychotic .They have solid grounds t o criticize him and condemn his infantile, erratic and irresponsible behavior. The only ones that come close to being psychotic , delusional are Trump himself and his fanatical followers. That is where the mass psychosis is a possibility.

and NO......it is NOT humorous to observe the situation that has evolved in the U.S ........as it is problematic. not only to the American population, but the world at large.
And yes......Cliffy's cartoons are spot on..........as they go to the character of the man (Trump) and the situation he crated.

Maybe if he spent less time being angry and reactive on Twitter , and less time blaming Obama and everyone else for the issues ..........and actually starting doing some real and effective work on the items he promised. Or are his promises as empty as his shallow words and character. His rudeness and crudeness are simply not acceptable in the role of president........president of anything let alone of a county. Given how he has

What is Trump and Co actual DOING about N.K besides telling Kim to get a life.?? As if that kind of talk will get Trump anywhere positive. functioned for six months......can anyone determine the direction he is going or taking the country??

He is a clever man. Stooping to liberal lows to ape them drives them bonkers.

Trump has become more like Nero to America than Nero was to Rome. He is a raving lunatic with the mental and emotional maturity of a 3 year old. But I still like the fact that he taking down the American Empire and reducing it to the rubble it deserves to be.
Ya, ya Wally. I hope when it collapses it crushes your neg repping finger. :)
