Do your research. Egypt attempted to bring about a 40 hour cease-fire, after which negotiations would begin on a long term truce.

Israel agreed.

Hamas refused.

The fact of the matter is Israel did not retaliate until 150 rockets had been fired into Israel. They did, however, repeatedly urge Hamas to cease and desist. They refused.

EVERY death in Gaza is the direct result of Hamas actions.

I would have no problem with Israel going in with ground troops and killing every idiot militant in Gaza, and sending Mossad hit teams to Qatar to kill Hamas leaders. Yep, that is where they are hiding out.............

Joo hater to the end ain't you?

Oh you think there's an end coming eh. End of what? Sleepy, this is a cycle, ya reap what ya sow. Tick tick tick a thousand years go by, one day yer standing in the sun and then you aint. And that goes of forever, the light and the dark. It,s very good to have such bad teachers. gotta love them though, cuz they hate that most of all

Isn't it a marvel, the utility Adalph has still after all these years. In a few centuries he will replace the tired old Satan.

Hard to find another dead guy who wields so much power.

I think I saw him in Wal-Nart the other day. He regularly shows up on toast and in coffee cream.

This hasn't ended in part because everyone frets about conflict.

Turn 'em loose in the school yard and let them settle this in the manner that they demand, at least in the way that the Palestine talking heads seem to go on about

And that goes of forever, the light and the dark. It,s very good to have such bad teachers. gotta love them though, cuz they hate that most of all

One might also expect that the Israelis might reap all that they've sown relative to the food, fuel, medical supplies, construction of homes, roads, water, etc that they've contributed to the Palestinians in that area over the years.

Somehow, methinks that this will be conveniently forgotten when the time comes

Believers never let facts stand in the way.

The fact is Hamas fired 150 rockets into Israel while Israel warned them and asked them to stop.........THEN the IDF retaliated for the first time.

The fact is Egypt tried to negotiate a 40 hour cease fire, followed by negotiations for a permanent truce. Israel accepted, Hamas refused.

The fact is Egypt tried again, and both sides accepted.....but Hamas broke the cease fire, firing 47 rockets into Israel an HOUR after the ceasefire took hold.

The fact is no nation on earth would stand for constant attacks without retailiation.

The fact is Israel is the ONLY nation on earth that would be subject to world criticism for responding to attacks on its territory.

Those damn Jews just won't line up for the gas chambers like they used to.............

You DO understand that it was Hamas that started this fight, and Hamas that is keeping it on..............

Go IDF.

I hear ya, but it's more about the stronger party being able to practice some restraint instead of resorting to conflict.

Israel doesn't want peace in the Middle East. If the Arabs democratize they'll become too organized, educated and financially powerful for Israel to stand a chance.

Go ahead, keep it. Do it for all the wrong reasons.
