Yes I can see that. Which of course would explain why you keep replying and got real upset when I answered your question. Which you still ignore, only to replace with your paranoia.

What can I say, I'm used to working with young kids who beg for my attention.

No one pities you.

Dear Gawd no. I actually hate it when people agree with me. How would I get my online entertainment then? Besides, I disagree with a plethora of people, some I've actually met in real life, and we all get along fine. But then again, they aren't condescending, paranoid ideologues
I don't think he'd get as big a kick out you as I do.

Love to hear yourself talk don't ya. I can only imagine what it's like to listen to you in real life. All bluster and no substance with a self-important air about you. Bet nobody gets a word in edgewise in your company, right?. Oh well, as long as it makes you feel good about yourself.

Now be a man, stop your sniveling and get back to the topic at hand.

Were you addressing me or Mhz? We're two different cats. I think when you admitted it was hard to comprehend you lost about 90% of your credibility. To put it another way that even an idiot can understand,it's not the number of prisoners that determines the size required, it's the number of man/woman years.

Is it paranoia or drinking too much rot gut?
Ouch, another knife in the back. Et tu Brute? You lofty CanCon misfits slay me.

Must be paranoia then, because I don't drink. Or maybe I just wanna shake your cozy little crib.

Now excuse me, you're giving me gas.

10 cents a litre since the election......Good thing we didn't elect Jack Lenin to PM....it could have went up a dime instead of 10 cents.

This whole thing will be swept under the rug and largely ignored by the media, who are still caught up by Harper's Grace in Manitoba.

Canadian Workers Most in Need of Labour Standards Protection

...Using a definition of low income based on the LICO, Picot and Myles (2005) report that over the period 1980-2002, the low income rate ranged from a low of about 10% to a high of about 14%.[13] This is broadly consistent with the results obtained by Morissette and Zhang (2001) who find that the proportion of individuals in low income was in the range of 12-14% over the period from 1993-1998.[14] Similarly, Census data for 2000 indicates that about 17% of employees working at least 30 hours per week and for a full year earned less than $20,000.[15]...
Canadian Workers Most in Need of Labour Standards Protection

A single parent cannot afford day care for a single child, let along multiple children on less than $20,000 per year. I know some single parents who make considerably more than that too. But for those people who find themselves trapped in poverty, education to become more skilled/productive is probably the best way out.

No one benefits when a single parent lives on welfare. Neglecting their children to earn less than $20k per year won't solve the problem either. The solution is wealthy people pay taxes to support social programs which educate and lift people out poverty. Now that they are more productive they pay more taxes which support more social programs which raises everyone standard of living. Raising the price of tuition out of the reach of the poor is counter productive for everyone.

Education from cradle to grave should be free. That includes day care, kindergarten, grade school, trades, college, university and adult education should all be free, just like our roads, water, sewer, and other services which benefit society as a whole. Now I'm not saying everyone should be able to go to university. Hardly. Post secondary education should be free and merit based, which means you have to compete for a limited number of spaces. How much money we spend on higher education through our taxes determines how many spaces are available. As people become more productive, the middle class grows and we have a wealthier, wider tax base. In the long term taxes would go down as fewer people require support to become more productive.

We as Canadians are sick of these ridiculous prices.

I don't know, ask DaS, I've actually met him in real life, I must have been such a pain, since we're getting together again, real soon.

Another excellent example of projection. What part of this post of yours was about the topic?

A single parent cannot afford day care for a single child, let along multiple children on less than $20,000 per year.
Then don't have kids. Why should I be forced to pay for someone that wishes to act irresponsibly?

First we'll have to start by ignoring the NIMBY's, then the gov't will have to ignore court injunctions, and cease and desist orders, so we can build new refineries.

Then we'll have to put a complete stop to speculation trading. I'm not sure how well that will go over, but the market correction, could make headlines that would make you cry.

Are you cool with that?

How do you call it a free market when all the oil corps so obviously participate in collusion and price fixing? Or do you think that none of them will sell for a penny or two cheaper to try and garner a greater market share?

It's a free market in the sence that if you don't like it your free to go and drill your own well, build your own refineries and gas stations,,,,and of course your free to set your own price.

Anyone who talks about collusion and price fixing is totally clueless on how the industry works. Do you believe there is still a santa clause too?

Welcome to a free market economy.

Canada is not a free market. Try drilling for oil without all the required permits/licenses/agreements in place. Try setting up a gas bar without the same.

Free market is a religion.

Yeah, the Liberals put all this nonsence in place.
Like everything else, THEY wanted to run the industry. But the stupid Liberals are almost all gone now, good riddance!!

Yeah right, talk to any gas station owner and ask if they are allowed to set the price themselves or if it is dictated by the oil corps. It is so obvious...chevron goes up 2 cents and every other gas station goes up 2 cents at the same time. If I had a gas station and was willing to sell for $1.20/L when everyone else was at $1.25 the supplier would cut me off. That is price fixing. When all the suppliers dictate the same price to the retail vendors that is collusion. A free market would have varied pricing based upon competitive market demand.
