Conservative women are far happier than you Liberal women who are always complaining of one thing or another - no thick skin, no common sense and no empathy for others.
You guys just source and debunk yourselves with the shit you use.
Colpy was right - you are so ideologically bent, you can't see what's in front of you. I pity you.

Court Rules Handgun Ban For Adults Under 21 Unconstitutional

For those who are interested in the process, this was a three-judge panel of the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals (a Federal court).

The next step will be "en banc review," where the full court will review and either uphold or overturn the panel.

Then it's on to the Supreme Court.

I don't see how this one can stand. There is no age at which one becomes an adult for all purposes. For example, one can enlist in the armed forces at 17, with parental consent. At 18, one can vote under the Twenty-Sixth Amendment. Driving licenses are a matter of state law, and various ages and restrictions, from 14 to 18, apply in various states. One cannot purchase alcohol until age 21 in any state, under state laws passed under threat of denial of Federal highway funding. The age of consent for sexual activity or marriage is a state matter, and varies from 13 to 18, with various restrictions and limitations. And typically one cannot rent a car until 25, though that is corporate policy and not law, it's not forbidden as discriminatory.

We'll see what happens. Probably take a couple more years at least. In the meantime, the court's ruling holds in Fourth Circuit territory, which is the states of Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia.

Assault Style Semi-Auto with Pistol Grip & Detachable Magazine of Unknown Capacity spotted in the hands of an Imperial Stormtrooper outside of the Coco Vanilla Galactic Cantina on May 4th....who's dancing? "That sounds suspicious!!!! Looks like the E-11 Blaster! I think it's on the list boys!!"

The inner workings of blasters essentially create particle beams to inflict damage. When the trigger is pulled, the blaster chambers a small volume of Tibanna gas into a gas conversion enabler (or XCiter). The XCiter excites the gas particles with energy from a power-pack, which attaches to the weapon much like a magazine does to sad Earth weapons. Afterwards, the excited gas is compressed into a beam in the actuating blaster module before being focused by first a prismatic crystal and then the galven circuitry in the barrel of the weapon.

A 19-year-old employee at Coco Vanilla Galactic Cantina dressed as a familiar Star Wars stormtrooper and danced outside the restaurant with blaster in hand to mark the occasion of May the Fourth, the day Star Wars fans celebrate the iconic film franchise as a play on the "May the force be with you" line.

"Get down on the ground," shouted one officer, while another approached the costumed woman carrying his long-gun.

"Upon police arrival, the subject dropped the weapon but did not initially comply with further police directions to get down on the ground," police said in the release.

The man shooting the scene on video — which was later posted on YouTube — can be heard expressing his amazement that the police didn't realize the woman posed no threat.

"Are you serious?," he said, as three officers handcuffed his employee, now lying face down on the ground. Whalen told CBC News the police appeared to continue with the takedown even after his employee had thrown the plastic gun to the ground. She was handcuffed while face-down on the pavement, which left her with a bloody nose, he said.

"Our signs on the front of the building say 'Star Wars.' We were playing Star Wars music. It's a stormtrooper, with a stormtrooper blaster. You know, you have to use a little bit of common sense." Thank God she wasn't dressed as a Mountie.

Mehdizadeh said he reviewed the 250-page report from the Medicine Hat investigators and concluded no officers were guilty of misconduct. He said they saw the subject of the 911 call with what looked like a weapon “alone in the parking lot with no signs, music or activity to suggest the officer should not take seriously the potential threat that was reported.”

It's like they're talking about two separate incidents. There was, & wasn't any Star wars music? There was, & wasn't any signage? It was, & wasn't May the Fourth??? She was, & wasn't dancing in a Stormtrooper costume in front of the Coco Vanilla Galactic Cantina on May the Fourth??

A Lego-covered Glock.

Yup. Only in America.

A Utah-based manufacturer is enemy No. 1 with a bullet, according to some critics, for producing a customized gun kit that encases a Glock handgun in Lego-like bricks — giving niche gun enthusiasts a pistol that looks like a toy.

“Here’s one of those childhood dreams coming to life, the Block19 prototype, yes you can actually build Legos onto it,” the company, Culper Precision in Provo, Utah, posted to its Instagram page. “We superglued it all together and surprisingly it survived a little mover 1,500 rounds in full auto at Shootah this past weekend.”

The real custom “toy” gun ranges in price from US$549 to $765.

“The idea is that customers who have a Gen 3 or 4 Glock 19 with a black polymer frame and have already purchased an aftermarket blank side … can send that in and we will return a Block19 to them for around $600,” company president Brandon Scott said.

Critics have come out firing, however, including Lego, with calls that the modification is the “most irresponsible” they’ve seen in some time.

“Perfect fodder for the ‘Everytown for Gun Safety’ people,” one gun fan wrote on the Firearm Blog, according to the New York Post. “Not a help.”

“Making a legitimate firearm appear to be a toy is simply irresponsible,” another comment read. “Just because we can, doesn’t necessarily mean we should.”

Federal law prohibits toys from being manufactured to look like guns but no law prohibits guns from being made to look like toys, the Washington Post reported.

The kit was removed from the company’s website after Lego sent Culper Precision a cease-and-desist letter, according to the Post.
