The whole damned place is armed, they want to be armed, they like the freedom of killing each other and therefore, there is nothing to fix. We should, however, make good and sure that their poison doesn't spread and that NO arms cross our border and if anyone tries to smuggle them in, throw them in prison for a couple of years.
Better still, strip them of their citizenship, march them to the US border, give them a push over the line and tell them that they are no longer welcome here and buzz off and join your own kind.

People in the US don't care, Sandy Hook and every shooting since has proven that. Their guns matter more than the rights of others to even exist even if guns have done SFA to keep people 'safe'.

I assume you posted his speech and never really listened to it!!. You might think about the fact that every 3 hours in the US, I child looses it's life to a gun that is not regulated.......not by a criminal or someone who has mental problems but by carelessness on the part of those who own a gun without even a smidgen of common sense. Those are the people who screamed about their constitutional rights before hand. I wonder how they feel afterwards, when they have removed their child's right to grow up??.
The only way to stop the carnage is proper gun laws ......controlling who can buy one and controlling sellers to those who will check up on backgrounds for criminal activity and mental illness. If England, Canada, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, etc. etc. etc. were able to do it, the most powerful nation on earth can surely do it.
