Really?

Have you seen a threat on here?

Have you seen anything resembling a threat?

Do you really think the RCMP ignoring the law in an attempt to grab as many guns as possible is healthy?

Do you want the police making up the law as they go along?

Do you think we have to respect the police even when they are way out of line?

Think about what you're saying, because your post is absolutely idiotic.

You really are a ****ing dimwit.

Thousands of people out of work.

And Remington makes sporting arms almost exclusively.

Although they also make the most popular police shotgun (the 870) and sniper rifles for the military, and for police ERTs.

I'm not in the mood for this shyte tonight.

Grow a ****ing brain, for all of our sakes.

Man!

Whacko!

Are you barricaded in your house, yet?

LOL I'm a F**king dimwit how funny!! Trump claims the employment record is just great since he took office. Are you doubting his word??

As for the sporting arms Remington was producing, are you claiming the rifles for the military, the rifle sniper rifles and the police shotgun are championed for sport?? Man you are one twisted individual. SIGH!!

If Remington is going bankrupt it is because those entities were not the main purchasers of those weapons. Too many parents have lost children, too many children have lost their friends. The Average American is learning that being armed does not stop losing children, and family members to the weapon that was bought for protection. The younger generation is going to win this battle ...... so suck it up.

Then they got jobs and became the Corporate bosses leading (according to millenials) the world in an epidemic of greed and corruption that is killing the planet.

Do you think that being the target of a deranged gunman will fade that quickly, for either the targets or their families? I mean it is not like getting a good job would change having your life lost because of a disgruntled 19 year old mental patient able to purchase a gun in a fit of angst.

You have deranged part right.

Why is there a teen mental health crisis?

Gun laws?

Why the drastic upswing of teen mental health issues?

Gun laws?

Why is this crisis being ignored?

Gun laws?

Slavery never ended, it just went underground.
True and isn't it the same people who always suffer. Women, children and the weak. Aren't we humans a grand species.....NOT!! After all, we wouldn't want to take away the perks of the ones who claim their rights to do as they will or what the strong have always done. Does it not seem that the only recourse the weak have is to join together to affect change.

So you think these people need to be picked up, dusted off and sent off to redeem themselves?

Are you one of the weak or you just think you are superior and they are reliant on you to stand up for them?

How high and mighty of you.

Whoa where did I say it has to be a mentally deranged teen? Which reminds me how many women shot up a school while mentally deranged or in a snit? Must look that up. The causes are more than one....religion, politics, loss of control. BUT.....mainly the availability of guns while going through that snit or loss of control!! At least with a knife, the person does have a chance at the attacker missing a vital spot.

So you think these people need to be picked up, dusted off and sent off to redeem themselves?

Don't be silly....I think nothing of the kind. Present your arguments sensibly and logically. I am a woman and do not claim to be stronger than a male, a woman or even a child with a gun. So, I guess that makes me one of the weak.

So what does that make someone needs a gun to make a point? In my opinion a coward, immature, mentally disturbed or just plain nasty. So who's rights mean more than those granted to the right to buy whatever weapon the like whenever they like or those who should have the right to live?

Sane happy kids don't kill other kids.

Where are the women (girls)?

Killing themselves at twice the rate they were 6 years ago.

They don't respect life either if they are taking their own in record numbers.

Is that because of gun laws?

Nothing of the kind. Present your arguments sensibly and logically.

What's illogical about it? You stated that "the weak" are being manipulated.

Are or are you not an equal human being?

Exactly what has the suicide rate have to do with gun control??? . Oh and the weaker in modern society are not being manipulated ...they are being killed. There is a bit of difference there.

Most young girls who commit suicide it seems by statistics feel hopeless about their lives and their future. It also seems that aboriginal girls are up to 5 times more likely to kill themselves. Now you tell me why that would be? By the way misdirection like Trump's is rather obviious.

Sane and healthy adults don't go out and kill adults either but it appears modern society does seem to produce a growing number of both. Putting a few restrictions on the manner in which those who are mentally troubled can kill large numbers seems like a decent solution.

Anyway, it is now stopped raining and I am gone.

Everything when it comes to "deranged" shooters.

Yeah why is that? Screwed up kids grow up to be screwed up adults.

How does gun control address the rapid rise in mental health concerns?

You are barking up the wrong tree if you want safety.

BTW Trump is the first President to focus attention on teen mental health. Did you miss the news story of him dropping $10B for fast tracking and prioritizing access to mental health treatment for teens or is that no good too?

You need to isolate the denial in all topics.

In this topic the denial centers on what appears to be a wave of mass shootings. The first thing to deny are that it is happening, because it isn't happening and if it is happening it has always happened.

You can't even get to the gun part before the drooling starts.

Our future drywaller, Waldo, tries and fails to upset people on the board. He is like many others. He cannot wait for someone with a mental health issue to lose control, and kill others. It excites him and acts as a catalyst to spit venom.

For onlookers who have not actually been attacked, its a rush to point fingers and start arguments. He gets to blame guns - inanimate objects - instead of being concerned with the person who did the shooting, or the victims.

So let's take away the guns! Okay, but the mentally ill don't care about that. And they are still mentally ill. The guns didn't make them that way. So what do mentally ill people do if they cannot get guns? Well, history has shown that they do other things to inflict pain and death. They start buildings on fire. They drive cars through malls or school zones. They poison people. They stab people.

Oddly, the liberal crowd has never cried out to ban cars, or demand mental health checks on potential drivers. Matches and lighters are available at corner stores. Poison is available everywhere.

Demanding that firearms must be banned won't change a thing. Three generations of us have grown up with violence on television, primarily police shows. Law and Order shows murder victims, dead people on slabs at the morgue, and urban shoot outs.

Video games using firearms are very popular. Kill enough people and destroy enough buildings and equipment and you win. Grand Theft Auto takes kids onto the streets smashing into people and other cars. There's a lot of destruction in that game.

Children are being programmed from an early age to be desensitized to acts of violence. Whether it's television or video games, it must be confusing to them. Players can kill at will, but come alive again after a time out. No one feels the pain or stress of an actual murder when they are watching TV or playing Nintendo. They have no problems with violence until they come face to face with it for real.

When they do, they react. They are horrified, hurt and angry that this could happen to them. And in typically human fashion, they look for someone or something to blame. Blaming to person who committed these heinous acts isn't enough.

Blaming the perp isn't enough. They need to blame others. They have to push their pain into everyone's face. Someone has to be held accountable. Firearms are responsible. Not enough police is responsible. A broken home did it. But most of all, it's firearms. They are an easy mark. They are very easy to blame. They don't fight back.

So, to stop the violence, the police, guns and a lousy life are to blame. Mental illness might be mentioned, but no one demands that more effort has to be made to make people better. Just get rid of the guns, put more cops on the street and get after parents to be better at child rearing. That will make it all better.
