Oh... the man I watched had a 13 year old son with him and the gun was for HIM. He walked out with the firearm after paying for it.LOL canadian tire sells firearms
Okay, so bann ladders, swimming pools and steak knives, cars, and don't forget babies cribs and high chairs as well. All over the years have killed many people, not nearly as many as guns in the US have but since some here feel people drown others in swimming pools, and whack their neighbors to death with ladders, stab them with steak knives and stick their child's head through the bars of cribs and push them out of their highchairs!!Guns don't kill people. Bullets kill people.
How much more rural should I get?? I live on a farm at least 30 miles from the nearest RCMP station and have done since I married. I live here alone now, on a main highway now, that goes from the city to the US border and have never had a problem. That is the difference between Canada's laws and those of the US.You truly believe that kid didnt have a PAL?
Scratch that. He can't get a PAL but he borrow a gun for target or hunting if over 12.
I kinda think you are full of shit.
Can I ask you a question? "If you lived in rural Canada where response time for the RCMP can be 40 minutes would you arm yourself?"
These day about two city blocks, not the miles it used to be. Oh and buy the way, many a time, I have gone to the barn to find hobos and homeless. I fed them before sending them on their way. It is never those who own guns who turn up on my doorstep, but those who are in trouble or drunk and lost. How far is your nearest neighbour?

It is not people with guns in the country that I need to worry about. Most of those stick to the lucrative city areas.
LOL It seems you have very poor comprehension skills....it is mostly reasonable CANADIAN gun people that are trusted......You know the ones.....those who do NOT want to become like the US in regards to gun laws.So country gun people are OK then?
Densely populated haha,,,,,,,if one considers the nearest town 15 miles away and has about 1500 residence ....Oh yah! bye now!!LOL It seems you have very poor comprehension skills....it is mostly reasonable CANADIAN gun people that are trusted......You know the ones.....those who do NOT want to become like the US in regards to gun laws.
Well I have had my fun and the rain has stopped so I am out to enjoy my bit of heaven here on earth!! Have fun fondling your precious firearms.
What? I say "Guns don't kill people. Bullets kill people." and you're blathering about ladders and pools and steak knives?Okay, so bann ladders, swimming pools and steak knives, cars, and don't forget babies cribs and high chairs as well. Unfortunately, Colpy's selections are cherry picking. All three provinces he selected have large aboriginal populations, a group that distorts Canada's gun death stats because it has an unusually high murder rate. If you want a proper comparison compare urban centers like Toronto to Chicago or Vancouver to Seattle. If you compare Winnipeg to Minneapolis for example, Winnipeg comes out looking quite good. Almost certainly if you wish to search diligently you can probably find many other areas of the US with low murder rates, provided you are willing to ignore the rest of the US. The US still leads the democratic world in gun death rates and that statistic refuses to go away.
Here is a link that may help to explain how the aboriginal murder rate distorts the Canadian total. And BTW Aboriginals are more likely to own guns than ordinary Canadians.

It's not their fault whites are wimps. Thanks for proving my point.
Murder rates are the result of culture, not the availability of guns.
The urban centres you mention have large inner cities, populated by blacks. Blacks have a murder rate in the USA that is many times that of whites. They make up 13% of the population,. and do 52% of the murders.
