I mix issues?? I thought this thread was about gun control not working. Oh....look it is. That is what I keep on posting about but you as well as others here keep trying to derail it anyway you can whenever you haven't a come back. It becomes insult time, pretend outrage, snide personal remarks. I must admit, I am very curious about which remark caused you so much hurt. So far, I have not dished out close to what I continue to take here. .Yes, well, you are very good at mixing issues and posting nonsensical information, so I am truly hurt by your claims about me.
Here you are a bit more proof on, "Gun Control does Work"You obviously did not take any sort of research analysis training. You can not make conclusions about Canada without actually looking at the rates and trending in Canada. Anything else is pure speculation.

Sleepy, I DO NOT talk in circles, it only seems that way to you. Please try addressing the post and not attacking the poster. By the way your "teasing" is somewhat like aiming a gun at someone and pretending to fire.

How amusing........My obsession,,,nah. My obsession is my garden, my family and travel in that order. I have air conditioning and don't need an ice pack and the only time I get worked up is at the gym where I go 3 times a week. You are just getting too wound up over your obsession for guns. Put a big ice pack on your head and lie down for awhile.
I have no idea since I do not see the Japanese women wielding one. Actually, I have a nephew who wields a pretty mean one.....He spent quite a lot of time teaching English in the East and was given a fine one by his master. You do remember that Japan had a reasonable army during the second world war, and; they did not fight with swords. How many deaths per year are attributed to Samurai swords in Japan ?
How if Canadian gun laws are sufficient do you explain the rash of shooting and killing in Surrey B.C. ?
Of Course I realize Canada was never was like the US. (Thank goodness) We became an independent country through negotiation. The US by war. We have a decent history of peaceful negotiations and the US has one of war. Was there ever a time where they were not fighting one war or another??US Army Handbook of Improvised Munitions, which has been in the public domain for decades. Tells you how to make Lead Picrate and all kinds of fun stuff
The author knows it is impossible to attribute any of Canada's wonderfully low gun homicide rates to a set of laws that happened AFTER the low rates happened.
He wants you to believe that Canada was like the US, but it never was, Bluebyrd.

Four years. Not quite true there Birdie- U.S. didn't enter WW2 until almost 3 years in and only after the Japs bombed the crap out of Pearl Harbor and as for WW1, it was damned near over before the Yanks got involved.
Guess Birdie will be voting NDP
And what in your opinion should the subject of conversation be about on a gun control thread Joe, Cooking?music? or dancing? You know what, Sleepy, if the prerequisite in Canada to vote Conservative is to be an NRA ar5eh0le, the Conservatives are going down in a very big way.
The gun love thing is fringe in this country. It is also a foreign import from a very troubled culture. You are part of a small minority on this country ... 20% at best. If every Conservative has to buy into a foreigner's Second Amendment, the best that you can ever hope for is a distant third finish. If Harper really wants to fight gun crime, he should first purge the NRA knuckleheads from his party, for good.
