Oh hell, we have drivers here who could make first-snow Texans laugh.

Yeah...I supoose I could see that. Even here in New England where snow is the norm we have drivers doing 20MPH with a mile long caravan of angry commuters behind them during a slight snowfall.

Awww.... do you think they'll be your friend now? Perhaps you can grovel for them too?

Aren't you proud that this is all you add to the forum?

You're a mouse among giants...you always have been.

I'll take that as a no, you can't debate them.

I add enough to get you to respond....

Huh?

Somehow as a mouse I have managed to many buckets of dough and build four seperate businesses.

I like mice.

I like going out into a shopping centre lot and getting my own refresher course. Cops get upset at first - until you explain what your doing.

Okay - busted. The first time it WAS just having a blast ... and the fib worked!

I use to do that at an old Cadburys plant in Whitby after is shut down....we use to have races at night.....it was awsome.

Needless to say when I go to my cottage in the winter I have no problem getting around.;-)

Eaglesmack, don't forget that we use a different temperature system up here. -1 Celcius = about 30 Farenheit.

Get out? For real?

I figured the population of any part of Canada should be well schooled in snow driving etc.

From the Mid-Atlantic states on down they panic with the forecast of a dusting of snow.

T'aint thet they're not schooled, jist din pay no 'tention AT school.

The 401 is a death trap on freezing rain days, before the salt truck gets out. You would not believe the carnage.

A bunch of us used to commute from East of Brockville to home twice a day for 6 years. Coming off midnights on a FR day, we all knew what to expect: 40 miles of ice.........not fun. Thank whassisname I got laid off.

They won't slow down.........until they come to a sudden halt.......:angry3:

I wonder what system those falling lizards of Florida use?

I bet Florida drivers are better in snow than any state in the south. Nobody is really from Florida...just New Yorkers, New Jersey and New Englanders who moved there.

I can't help think what a great assistance could be rendered by the military in such climatic crisis presently being suffered by the Ukians. But as we well know these corrupt Ukian politicians have removed said equipment and the personelle far away to stave off an Afghani attack. Everyone of those tanks has snow plowing blades, all the PCs and armored cars have them as well. All the heavy lift chopers would be very usefull too. It is to be hoped that the light of Europe will not be extinguished by Jack Frost while the brave defenders of Uks shores wastes its talents pounding the life out of Joe Taliban and Al Kaydah. They're burning the fuel Anglishpeeples sorely need to keep home and hearth warm and comfy.
These same politicians also passed bad intell to the peeples, remember they harped incessantly about the warm good times to be. I wonder if in fact they are not themselves agents of Joe Taliban.

The connection is ginormous. Do you realize that industrial fuels have been rationed? Do you realize what just one more week of the same weather will do to the people and the infrastructure? They could bloody well use that manpower and equipment right now in UK where the owners of the equipment live and freeze. I'm entirely fumed to have you poo poo my very important post in this regard with your specious observations regarding my heartfelt ruminations concerning the welfare of my fellow man such as they are.

PS we have canceled your dancing engagement at my fathers annual pre- nuptual party. You may keep the retainer and your portfolio will be returned by courier.

One would think so, EagleSmack, but such is not the case. Winter comes and some people are still driving on their summer tires, or worse they think because they have a 4WDR vehicle that they can go anywhere and stop on a dime when roads are icy. 8O
