This could be the new politics, when groups like the Tea Party come to office. People are frustrated,
and they don't yet understand it is their wasteful ways that have brought them to where they are in the
economic downturn. This one is different, it won't go away for another five to ten years. Americans
are looking for a quick fix, trying to take care of the symptoms instead of the problems and the losses
are getting bigger not smaller. America really doesn't produce much anymore they are a nation of
consumers that can no longer afford to buy. It must be a shock to realize you are not much better off
than the collapse of the Soviet Union, it is just that the economic fallout and death is a little slower.
The violence is the manifestation of a new generation of Americans that don't have any respect for
anyone except their own kind, and this will get worse before it gets better.

Speculation isn't it? Moving in a threatening manner? Paul has paid security guards for that...anyways the guy who stepped on her head has been charged with assault and has been dropped as the campaign coordinator in Bourbon County.

I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be a lawsuit sometime in the near future. No matter what happened before, the woman was on the ground and subdued when the guy decided to stomp on her head. I am glad he was charged.

Tonington, your video no longer works.

It works...just double click on it to get to CBS web site...

While the woman didn't deserve to be stomped....she is not just an innocent bystander....

No... people whose arguments stand to gain from what they see will see what they want... others will just see.

Sure and from what I see a woman in a wig approached a candidate twice which instigated the unfortunate incident that resulted in her being forced to the ground and a foot pushed on her shoulder while at the same time no such stunts were pulled when Rands opponent arrived.

The guy was charged...good.

However her actions were purposed a response and she got it.

If I were a judge I'd press charges against her as well given the footage. I'd charge them both. There's no excuse for politics turning into that. It serves the nation poorly.

It is the way things are going down there. The poop is hitting the fan and people are up tight and out of sight, looking for some scape goat to Bar B Q. US politics is getting more fun than a Bruce Willis movie.

If she was indeed going to do harm to a politician she should be arrested but not stomped the way
she was. There will be courts and their will be the usual bad press and so be it. This whole thing
was handled poorly

If...these are based on the words of the man who has been summoned for assault. The crowd was pretty charged up, I don't think he was thinking rationally.

Well being a dumb fukin idiot is only in the Military - So send her to the base in Cuba.

Instigating a public disturbance does come to mind.

No, nevermind her 1st Ammendment rights? Her intentions weren't that far removed from what Rick Mercer is paid to do...
