Northern Ontario,
She's tenacious, I'm not denying that. I just don't see a clear attempt to hit him in the face. That wouldn't embarrass him, in fact it would probably give him an edge, a talking point.

Actually she got what she was after .....publicity and her "fifteen minutes of fame"...like the people on the gerry Springer show;-)

You wanna play the game ...you takes your lumps....and lumps she got..........

First of all professional protester or not, if there was no attack on Paul, then there was no need to do
what the security did. A professional security person would never let something like this be the focal
point of the candidates appearance. Thuggery comes in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes the left
have employed these tactics. look at Chicago back in sixty eight. On the other hand this happened all
through history, the extreme right wing under Hitler in the organizing days right up to the late thirties
were always engaging people in violence. Violence is not a left right issue, is an issue as someone
pointed out, of violence by violent people. To say one side or the other is to blame is simplifying a
serious issue that effects society in general.

If she was indeed going to do harm to a politician she should be arrested but not stomped the way
she was. There will be courts and their will be the usual bad press and so be it. This whole thing
was handled poorly

considering what politicians have done to us over the years whats wrong with hurting a few? As long as you have tags why not bag a few?

I think every last person has the right to peacefully protest for their personal views. I DO NOT believe that anyone has the right to shove a sign physically into someone else's face without expecting reaction from surrounding people. And I do not believe that anyone should have the right to hire someone else to go protest for them.

That means that anyone who doesn't agree with the Tea Party movement can in your view go to a demonstration and start kicking butt because someone was near them with a sign. I am not sure I understand you correctly but I sure don't see that as right. As for the right to hire someone to protest, I am pretty sure everyone has that right. Like advertising if you have the money to pay someone, you can get them to say anything within reason. I doubt you can manage to legislate away protest without becoming as draconian as China or North Korea.
