Question: to all here: Why are such behaviors (assassinations ) conducted by other nations illegal, horrifying and atrocious and yet ok for some , when done by the "west". Atrocious behaviors / acts are atrocious , regardless of who commits them.

Seems that some have a serious problem with their own ethical and moral compass. The issue seems to be that they can "justify" just about any atrocity to themselves as they rationalize their views. People have done this since humans walked up right. We have seen it in Germany, Russia and other places where so many horrors took place.

No one is defending Gadhafi . But one MUST defend the law and cvilized conduct or we are no better than those we assassinate./slaughter.

Yes, that IS simple. The aggressor NEVER establishes the rules. Criminals do no establish the rules. IF that were the case, then they have been granted a lot more power than they already take for themselves.

No one is talking about round table chats and that is plain silly. Both he and OBL were in such close proximity that they could have been captured and brought to an international court of law.....and handled in the civilized manner we preach about practicing.

If those that located him are so incopentant that they could not have arrested him , handcuffed him and read him his rights..... then they are a sorry lot indeed. and should not even be there.
