Kent will have a blast. Youth are the most creative bull****ters. They see boogeymen in their closets and they are real.

Glad that you had a nice summer in 1941 and in 1958 in the South West corner of Vancouver Island.

That translates to the world?

Have you looked at the posts that show the number of records that are being set now? Thousands already thus year and that is just North America. The all time record for my area for this day was set in 1944. would not be so foolish as to claim that means it is not one Hell of a lot hotter this year.

All time records set in one tiny area being measured. Nobody here has looked at the official temp, hot or cold and said "that ain't close to what it is here".
Lillooet in the Fraser canyon/valley is most often the hottest place in BC if not Canada but weather stations are not recording other nearby areas that are hotter.
Edmonton temps were often laughed at back in the day because they were merely local approximates, -30 at Namao, -39 below the Groat bridge.

I lose up to two weeks off each end of the growing season compared to Qualicum Beach because although only a few miles away i am at +500 ft of altitude.
If one wants to dig a bit, as AGW fanboyz do, it is easy to find perceived anomalies.

That is not very perceptive of you. Thousands of local records have been set this year alone and the whole world is measured. Complain to government if there is no weather station in your backyard and you want one.

The number of records, an annually increasing record has been posted several times. The number of cold records is declining annually and is small by comparison anyway.

Still pretty cold here in Melbourne... the cold broke some records a few days ago too.... it snowed in South Africa a few days back too.....

Oh hey.... check this picture out:

^ Not too long ago the water used to be all the way to the top of those mountains and Global Warming dried it all up & turned the place to a desert.... if we don't act soon, we'll all be dead.

OH NOES!!!!! :?

Prax... weather is not a factor unless it is hot weather.

Nooooo that is what is required in this little project if I want to self supply and sell the surplus.
Did you figure out how much I'd stand to lose over the 20 year life of the system yet?

You asked me to set up a business plan and now you are telling me what has to go into the plan? If you can sell your surplus what do you need batteries for. :)

If you are tied into the grid so that you can sell the surplus power from a 20 kw windmill then you can buy power back from the grid when the wind isn't blowin'and cheaper than buying batteries. There you go you really should hire me, I have saved you 9000 bucks already. Come to think of it if you want the kind of help you need you should hire someone because if they need to explain things like that to you it takes up valable time.

Why would I want to buy and contribute to GHGs from a coal fired powerplants? Why would I lay out $55,000 only to have to buy power and nat gas?

Are you ready to admit it's a no go? I already knew that 5 year ago.

I didn't realize that you don't understand the concept of making a net benefit. All to tje good though. Contact a variety of other renewable developers and establish a clean energy pool that each can draw on through sask powers lines. No reason to lose money just because you are a busy guy and can't think your way out of a paper bag.
