Why Satanists? Could be Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, Muzzies, but not many had a king that wrangled demons and has been emulated ever since.

Man some days talking to you is like a phone call to Bjork.

We have already refuted all that bullsh*t several times so I won't bother re-posting those refutations again.

Still, it is the USA that killed over 1 million Iraqis, killed thousands more in Afghanistan, made all kinds of threats against Iran, supported a tyrannical butcher in Uzbek, and exported more terrorism than any other country in modern history. You and others of your ilk have side stepped those truths. Therefore, if you want your ''principles'' to be respected you need to apply them on a consistent basis.

Very thoughtful of you to provide an example of what you meant by "refuted bullsh*t".

US embassy cables: US targets terrorists with conventional warheads fitted to nuclear weapons

James Miller, a senior nuclear policy official in the US State Department, is giving a private briefing to NATO allies on developments in US nuclear policy. One of the subjects under discussion was the US plan to load conventional warheads onto strategic nuclear weapons to hit terrorists.

Here's something to chew on for those who are a bit confused about who the really enemies are here..

Hamas resists Israel’s military occupation and its illegal and violent actions in the occupied territories. It is accused of refusing to recognize Israel (political parties do not recognize states). In contrast, the US and Israel not only do not recognize Palestine, but have been acting for decades to ensure that it can never come into existence in any meaningful form; the governing party in Israel, in its 1999 campaign platform, bars the existence of any Palestinian state.

Hamas is charged with rocketing Israeli settlements on the border, criminal acts no doubt, though a fraction of Israel’s violence in Gaza, let alone elsewhere. It is important to bear in mind, in this connection, that the US and Israel know exactly how to terminate the terror that they deplore with such passion. Israel officially concedes that there were no Hamas rockets as long as Israel partially observed a truce with Hamas in 2008. Israel rejected Hamas’s offer to renew the truce, preferring to launch the murderous and destructive Operation Cast Lead against Gaza in December 2008, with full US backing, an exploit of murderous aggression without the slightest credible pretext on either legal or moral grounds.

The model for democracy in the Muslim world, despite serious flaws, is Turkey, which has relatively free elections, and has also been subject to harsh criticism in the US. The most extreme case was when the government followed the position of 95% of the population and refused to join in the invasion of Iraq, eliciting harsh condemnation from Washington for its failure to comprehend how a democratic government should behave: under our concept of democracy, the voice of the Master determines policy, not the near-unanimous voice of the population.

The Obama administration was once again incensed when Turkey joined with Brazil in arranging a deal with Iran to restrict its enrichment of uranium. Obama had praised the initiative in a letter to Brazil’s president Lula da Silva, apparently on the assumption that it would fail and provide a propaganda weapon against Iran. When it succeeded, the US was furious, and quickly undermined it by ramming through a Security Council resolution with new sanctions against Iran that were so meaningless that China cheerfully joined at once – recognizing that at most the sanctions would impede Western interests in competing with China for Iran’s resources. Once again, Washington acted forthrightly to ensure that others would not interfere with US control of the region.

Here is a list of facts, they are harder to chew than fantasy, theories that have no credibility and pure BS. Make sure you put your good teeth in. Lots to chew on. Facts are hard chewing and swallowing is difficult.
Gaza War - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

On June 19, 2008, an Egyptian-brokered six-month "lull" or pause in hostilities between Israel and Hamas went into effect.[64] The agreement had no mutually agreed text or enforcement mechanism and eventually collapsed.[65]

The agreement required Hamas to end rocket and mortar attacks on Israel and to enforce the lull throughout Gaza. In addition, Israel insisted that the agreement would include an end to Hamas's military buildup in Gaza and movement toward the release of Corporal Shalit.[66] Hamas said all the Gaza's militant groups would abide by the truce.[67] Defense Ministry Official Amos Gilad, the Israeli envoy to the talks, stressed that Israel demanded a total ceasefire, meaning that even one single rocket fired will be seen as a violation of the agreement. He added that Egypt, on its side, is committed to preventing the smuggling activity from Gaza.[68] Gilad also said that Israel would hold Hamas responsible for any attacks from Gaza.[67]

In exchange, Israel agreed to ease the embargo and agreed to halt military raids into Gaza.[66][69] As part of the deal Egypt has promised to stop the smuggling of arms and weapons from its territory into Gaza.[67

On December 13, Israel announced that it was in favor of extending the cease-fire, provided Hamas adhered to the conditions.[82] On December 14, a Hamas delegation in Cairo proposed that Hamas was prepared to stop all rocket attacks against Israel if the Israelis would open up and not be allowed to close or reduce commercial traffic through the Gaza border crossings and pledge not to launch attacks in Gaza.[83] On the same day, Hamas officials told that earlier reports, quoting Khaled Meshaal as saying there would be no renewal of the truce, were inaccurate. A Hamas spokesman said that the lull would not be renewed, "as long as there is no real Israeli commitment to all of its conditions".[84] Spokesman for the Israeli prime minister replied that Israel was committed to the truce but "it's clear there can't be a one-sided ceasefire, ... where rockets are everyday coming from the Gaza Strip targeting Israeli civilians".[84]

On December 18, a day before the truce officially expired, Hamas declared the end of the cease-fire.[85] More than 20 rockets were launched from Gaza into southern Israel on that day.[86]

On December 19, Hamas refused to enter talks to renew the six-month truce and Hamas spokesman announced that it would not extend the cease-fire.[87][88] Palestinian sources said that Hamas wanted to renew the truce, but only on improved terms – a complete opening of the border crossings with Israel, the opening of the Rafah border crossing with Egypt, a complete ban on Israeli military activity in Gaza and an extension of the truce to the West Bank as well. Israel was not ready to accept these terms.[88] This was confirmed by Yuval Diskin, head of Israel's internal security agency, at an Israeli cabinet meeting on December 21. Diskin said he thought Hamas was "interested in continuing the truce, but wants to improve its terms...it wants us to lift the siege of Gaza, stop attacks, and extend the truce to include the West Bank".[75] Three Qassam rockets fired from the northern Gaza Strip landed in Israel.[89]

You note no legal grounds - best check up on International law - A Country when attacked is allowed to defend itself. Man that is pretty simple thinking now is it not?

You hold up Turkey as a model for Democracy - Best read up on what has been happening under the present Pro Islamic Regime. Or ask the Kurds, or the Journalists, or the News/TV Editors as to how free they are.

Side bar negotiations of no status what so ever - Done to throw a thorn in the side and split opinion - That is all that was - Turkey & Brazil has no part of the agreed upon countries to negotiate on their behalf, supported by the UN. Again get caught up with facts my man.

Actually, it's speaking of non-nukes. And again, it makes perfect sense, I'm surprised it hasn't been done a long time ago. Just a cruise missile with far better range. Nothing earth shaterring there. (pun intended) :)

why spend a million on a cruise missile, when you can spend tens of millions on an ICBM.

It saves the tens of millions you would have needed to spend to transport the cruise to range.

BBC chiming in on the threat of nuclear war.. seems much a do about nothing then, at least from the other side of the pond... Guess we don't have to go after Iran after all.

And the omissions? Perhaps the most significant is the lack of any attention to civil nuclear power plants outside of the United States. Fears about nuclear non-proliferation from rogue states continue to plague diplomats and defence strategists, of course.

But if the inference from this list is correct, it seems that when it comes to civil nuclear power, we have moved into an age of asymmetrical threats, fluid and often unpredictable.

Other potential soft targets have moved centre stage, and perhaps the days have gone when security planners believe a terrorist attack on a civil nuclear plant to wage nuclear war or cause nuclear panic is either particularly likely or necessarily globally devastating.

I'd estimate that an ICBM can hit anywhere in the world in under an hour while a B-52 can deliver a cruise missile anywhere in the world in under 12 hours.

Why would the U.S. fit a nuclear weapon with a conventional weapon? The nuke would do the job (which is not a bad idea, sure empty those caves). If it was a conventional explosive, well that wouldn't be a nuclear device.
