Report: ‘Devastating Cancer Crisis’ Has Been Caused By Stay At Home Orders

More than 300,000 people In UK have missed urgent checks; Referrals down 13%, treatment down 12%

eading cancer charities in the UK are warning that there is a crisis underway with huge numbers of people not receiving referrals or treatment because they’ve been told to stay at home and not to burden the National Health Service.

The London Telegraph reports that Cancer Research UK stats show that in the 12 months ending in March 2021, a total of 304,555 fewer patients than the previous year were referred to hospitals for urgent checks by GPs.

It represents a drop of 13 percent.

The stats also show that there were 38,800 fewer patients starting cancer treatment, a drop of 12 percent.

According to the research 20,000 fewer people were referred for breast cancer checks alone.

Cancer Research UK’s chief executive, Michelle Mitchell, said: “The UK faces the real possibility of the Covid-19 crisis being replaced with a cancer crisis.”

She added “Sadly, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on cancer services, and the lives of cancer patients, over the past year.”

“It’s not only those who’ve had a cancer diagnosis that we’re worried about – there are thousands of missing cancer patients out there, many of whom would ordinarily have been diagnosed through an urgent referral but haven’t been because of the pandemic,” Mitchell further warned.

The Telegraph also reports multiple instances where people were refused GP appointments for months and DIED of cancer as a result before they were even able to be referred to a hospital for a check.

The Institute for Public Public Policy Research has also presented separate data that indicates survival rates have been set back by up to eight years.

The research suggests that there have been at least 4,500 avoidable cancer deaths this year alone owing to late diagnosis.

Sara Bainbridge, the head of policy at Macmillan Cancer Support, noted “This data shows a devastating year of disruption, which has seen tens of thousands of people missing a diagnosis or experiencing changed and delayed treatment, while their chances of survival potentially worsen.”

The findings add to the mountains of research that already exists suggesting that the ‘cure is worse than the problem’ as regards the COVID pandemic.

As we previously reported, Academics from Duke, Harvard, and Johns Hopkins have concluded that there could be around a million excess deaths over the next two decades as a result of lockdowns.

In October, the World Health Organization’s Regional Director for Europe Hans Kluge said governments should stop enforcing lockdowns, unless as a “last resort,” because the impact on other areas of health and mental well-being is more damaging.

Matthew Perry will be there for you … even if you don’t need him.

The Friends star has been selling merchandise themed around the popular NBC comedy tied to this week’s anticipated reunion. But some followers took to social media to vent their frustrations after he posted a shirt for sale that riffs on the “Could I BE any more…?” line his character Chandler Bing uttered frequently on the long-running sitcom.

In addition to a sweatshirt that reads, “Could I be more ME?,” Perry, 51, is hawking a T-shirt with the question, “Could I BE any more vaccinated?”

But after he shared an image of himself wearing the merch on Instagram and Twitter, some fans accused the actor of trying to profit off the coronavirus pandemic.

“Making money from a T-shirt relating to vaccines is in bad taste. Could I BE any more annoyed,” one person remarked, while another added, “Why would I give a multi millionaire even more money?”

One user chimed in saying, “Don’t be that guy who tells people what to inject into them. Please,” with a fourth responding with, “Just propaganda machines for life huh? That’s all celebs are anymore.”

The shirt retails for $32.50 and is only available for a “limited time” through Perry’s official web store where the description reads, “Now back out into the world!!….or stay in and binge-watch Friends again! :)

The first man to get the COVID-19 vaccine outside of a clinical trial has shuffled off this mortal coil.

William Shakespeare, who went by Bill, died of a stroke Thursday at the age of 81, according to multiple media reports.

Shakespeare, an 81-year-old former worker at Rolls-Royce and parish councillor, got the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID jab in December at University Hospital Coventry shortly after 91-year-old Margaret Keenan, the first person in the world to get vaccinated against the coronavirus. Shakespeare was an inpatient at the hospital when he was vaccinated.

“Bill was so grateful for being offered the opportunity to become one of the first people in the world to be given the vaccine,” his wife of 53 years, Joy, said in a statement released by the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. “It was something he was hugely proud of — he loved seeing the media coverage and the positive difference he was able to make to the lives of so many.

“He often talked to people about it and would always encourage everyone to get their vaccine whenever he could.”

Coventry councillor Jayne Innes, who was a friend of Shakespeare, said “the best tribute to Bill is to have the jab.”

LONDON — Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the British state failed to appreciate the deadly threat from the novel coronavirus as it raced across the world in early 2020 and were disastrously slow to impose a lockdown, his former adviser said on Wednesday.

With almost 128,000 deaths, the United Kingdom has the world’s fifth worst official COVID-19 toll. Reuters has reported how Britain was slow to spot the infections arriving, it was late with a lockdown and it continued to discharge infected elderly hospital patients into care homes.

In a blistering attack on the British state, Dominic Cummings told lawmakers that Johnson in early 2020 thought COVID-19 a “scare story” while many ministers, including the prime minister, were on holiday in February 2020, some skiing.

Cummings cast the administrative system as woefully disorganized, dominated by “groupthink” and run by ministers such as Health Secretary Matt Hancock who, he said, should be sacked for lying to the public and the government.

The health ministry declined to immediately comment on Cummings’ accusation.

Such was Johnson’s skepticism about COVID-19, he even told officials he was considering getting the government’s chief medical advisor to inject him with the novel coronavirus to reassure the public, Cummings said.

“The prime minister regarded this as just a scare story,” Cummings said, adding the view of officials was Johnson’s attitude was “don’t worry about it and I’m going to get Chris Whitty to inject me live on TV with coronavirus.”

“When the public needed us most, the government failed,” Cummings told lawmakers.

Cummings, the strategist behind the 2016 Brexit campaign and Johnson’s landslide election win in 2019, left Downing Street, carrying his personal belongings in a box, in late 2020 after falling out with Johnson.

His evidence before lawmakers gave an alarming insight into the heart of the British government as it grappled with the onset of what would become the most tumultuous public health crisis in decades.

Johnson rejected the criticism from his former adviser, saying he did not accept Cummings’ accusation that government inaction led to unnecessary deaths.

“I don’t think anybody could credibly accuse this government of being complacent about the threat that this virus posed, at any point. We have worked flat out to minimize loss of life,” Johnson said.

So far, Cummings’ accusations have failed to harm Johnson’s government, which has seen its popularity rise due to the rapid roll out of COVID-19 vaccines to the public.

The committee of lawmakers hearing Cummings’ testimony has little power to sanction ministers, but their report will feed into full public enquiry into Britain’s response to COVID-19 due to begin in 2022.

COVID ‘DISASTER’

The West, Cummings said, failed during the COVID crisis and British officials were resistant to accepting that they should follow the example of Asian powers in locking down the country.

“The truth is that senior ministers, senior officials, senior advisers like me, fell disastrously short of the standards that the public has a right to expect of its government in a crisis like this,” Cummings said.

He related meetings in early 2020 when it started to dawn on some officials that Johnson’s resistance to a lockdown was a deadly mistake. Cummings said there was no COVID plan and certainly no plan for a lockdown.

“I’ve come through here to the Prime Minister’s Office to tell you, quote, I think we are absolutely fucked. I think this country is headed for disaster. I think we’re going to kill 1000s of people,” Cummings quoted Helen MacNamara, deputy cabinet secretary, as saying.

Bank of England and finance ministry officials worried early on that the bond markets could turn against Britain because of the huge sums that would need to be borrowed, he said.

Cummings, played by Benedict Cumberbatch in the film “Brexit: The Uncivil War,” said he was sorry for being too slow to hit the emergency button.

“I failed and I apologize,” he said, adding that at one point, he pointed to images of Italy on the television in an attempt to convince Johnson that a lockdown was essential.

Cummings said he had told Johnson on March 14, 2020, that the United Kingdom would have to go into lockdown but that there was no plan for a lockdown and there was a fundamental failure to appreciate how swiftly the virus was spreading.

The government’s chief scientific adviser, Patrick Vallance, said in March 2020 that 20,000 deaths would be a good outcome. Soon after, a worst-case scenario prepared by government scientific advisers put the possible death toll at 50,000. The toll is now close to 127,739.

Johns Hopkins Prof:

Half Of Americans Have Natural Immunity; Dismissing It Is ‘Biggest failure Of Medical Leadership’

professor with the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine has said that there is a general dismissal of the fact that more than half of all Americans have developed natural immunity to the coronavirus and that it constitutes “one of the biggest failures of our current medical leadership.”

Dr. Marty Makary made the comments during a recent interview, noting that “natural immunity works” and it is wrong to vilify those who don’t want the vaccine because they have already recovered from the virus.

Makary criticised “the most slow, reactionary, political CDC in American history” for not clearly communicating the scientific facts about natural immunity compared to the kind of immunity developed through vaccines.

“There is more data on natural immunity than there is on vaccinated immunity, because natural immunity has been around longer,” Makary emphasised.

“We are not seeing reinfections, and when they do happen, they’re rare. Their symptoms are mild or are asymptomatic,” the professor added.

“Please, ignore the CDC guidance,” he urged, adding “Live a normal life, unless you are unvaccinated and did not have the infection, in which case you need to be careful.”

Gee doc! SMALL WORLD!

BTW, 127,739. divided by the inaccuracy rate of 96% at anything over 33 cycles of the PCR "Test" ( they generally use 40 and up of course to amplify the terror) and that death toll might actually only be: 9600 deaths with no comorbidities, and ADDITIONALLY (HAHA), THAT number has to have all the deaths due to the fact that they stopped diagnosing the patient when they got a fake @$$ed positive PCR result subtracted from it and then MISTAKENLY on PURPOSE jammed them on to a respirator where only 1 out of 10 survive as well.

LONDON — British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s inept handling of the COVID pandemic led to tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths, and officials even feared he would ask to be injected with the virus on television to show it was benign, his former chief adviser said on Wednesday.

With almost 128,000 deaths, the United Kingdom has the world’s fifth highest official COVID-19 toll, far higher than the government’s initial worst-case estimates of only 20,000.

During seven hours of explosive testimony to a parliamentary committee, Dominic Cummings told lawmakers Johnson was like a shopping cart that could not be guided, and that it was it was “crackers” that someone like him should be prime minister.

“Everybody was screaming, on quarantine – ‘Have a policy, and set it out clearly and stick to it!’,” Cummings said.

“But nobody could find a way around the problem of the prime minister – just like a shopping trolley, smashing around from one side of the aisle to the other.”

Asked about Cummings’s criticisms at a weekly question-and-answer session in parliament, Johnson said nobody could credibly accuse him or his government of complacency.

“We have worked flat out to minimize loss of life,” he said, without directly addressing many of the claims of the man who had been his closest adviser before an acrimonious split late last year, and who personally witnessed many of his actions.

Cummings’s evidence gave an alarming insight into the heart of the British government as it grappled with the onset of what would become the most devastating public health crisis in a century.

Britain was completely unprepared, and Johnson’s government lacked plans, brains, urgency and leadership, he said.

As danger loomed in February 2020, many ministers were away on ski holidays. Johnson initially dismissed the new virus as a scare story, Cummings said.

He said officials saw Johnson’s attitude as “Don’t worry about it, and I’m going to get (Chief Medical Adviser) Chris Whitty to inject me live on TV with coronavirus.”

“When the public needed us most, the government failed,” Cummings said. “Tens of thousands of people died who didn’t need to die.”

Johnson subsequently caught COVID-19 early in the pandemic, and was moved to intensive care in hospital, where he received liters of oxygen. He later said plans had been prepared to announce his death.

Cummings cast the state as woefully disorganized, dominated by “groupthink,” and run by ministers such as Health Secretary Matt Hancock who, he said, should be sacked for lying to the public and the government.

Johnson’s spokesman said the prime minister had full confidence in Hancock.

Cummings’s attacks have so far failed to dent Johnson’s popularity, but his testimony is likely to form the broad lines of scrutiny of a public inquiry next year into the response to COVID-19.

Cummings, the strategist behind the 2016 Brexit campaign and Johnson’s landslide election win in 2019, left Downing Street late last year, carrying his personal belongings in a box, after falling out with the prime minister.

He said the West had failed during the crisis, and that British officials had resisted the idea that they should follow the example of Asian countries in locking the country down:

“The truth is that senior ministers, senior officials, senior advisers like me, fell disastrously short of the standards that the public has a right to expect of its government in a crisis like this.”

Johnson has admitted that mistakes were made and that lessons need to be learned, but his ministers say they were having to working fast, under pressure, in the face of a huge crisis.

“I take full responsibility for everything that has happened,” Johnson told lawmakers on Wednesday. “As I’ve said before … I am truly sorry for the suffering that the people of this country have experienced.”

He has pointed to Britain’s rapid vaccination program as a success that will allow the economy to rebound before its peers.

JERUSALEM — Israel will release next week its findings on heart inflammation cases in COVID-19 vaccine recipients and then decide whether to approve inoculations of youngsters aged 12-15, a senior health official said on Thursday.

Israel’s Health Ministry said in April it was examining a small number of such cases among people who received Pfizer/BioNtech’s PFE.N COVID-19 vaccine. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) made a similar statement earlier this month.

“We will release our final report which will say whether there really is a link to the vaccine and what the implications are,” said Sharon Alroy-Preis, the ministry’s head of public health.

Once the report is made public next week, she told Army Radio, “we will issue the most responsible recommendation we can to Israelis, and of course, ultimately, it will be up to parents” to decide whether to vaccinate their children.

“I myself will vaccinate my 15-year-old son as soon as it is authorized,” Alroy-Preis said.

Dror Mevorach, one of the experts on the investigating panel, said the inquiry includes comparisons of cases of myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle, among vaccinated patients with those who have not been inoculated as well as data from previous years, before the pandemic.

Mevorach, head of internal medicine at Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, said most of the 20 myocarditis cases it has treated occurred among healthy males, with an average age of 22, one to four days after they received their second inoculation.

Mevorach, who is also in charge of the hospital’s COVID-19 units, said nearly all patients diagnosed with heart inflammation had light symptoms and made a full recovery.

The Health Ministry has not yet said how many cases of myocarditis were detected in total among the more than 5 million people vaccinated in Israel. Israeli media reported the number was about 100.

Over half Israel’s population has been vaccinated in a rapid rollout. The number of new coronavirus cases, now averaging about 20 a day, has been dropping steadily even as the economy has opened and most restrictions have been lifted or eased.

The fact that the pandemic is no longer raging in Israel had changed the risk-benefit analysis in weighing whether to begin vaccinating youngsters, Mevorach said.

“At the moment, in the Israeli bubble, we are no longer in an emergency situation so we can take the time to probe deeply,” he told Reuters in a telephone interview.

The report from Auditor General Karen Hogan into the lack of PPE in Canada pre-pandemic was incomplete and yet still scathing.

The response from the government on why Canada was ill-prepared is nothing short of pathetic.

For more than a year the Trudeau Liberals have defended their handling of the National Emergency Strategic Stockpile (NESS.)

Despite reports of PPE being thrown away and not replaced, warehouses closed and supplies greatly diminished, the Liberals kept insisting the system worked as it should have.

In her report, Hogan found differently.

“The NESS was not prepared to respond to a pandemic,” Hogan said.

Hogan said that inventory control at the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) was so bad that her team could not accurately determine how much PPE was on hand when COVID-19 hit Canada.

What she could say was that as early as February 2020 PHAC had trouble supplying provinces and territories with what they needed.

The NESS has existed since the 1950s and since the early 2000s has been charged with keeping a supply of PPE on hand in case of a pandemic.

In a post-SARS report from 2006, Dr. Theresa Tam, the Chief Medical Officer of Health and lead doctor at PHAC, wrote a report calling for 16 weeks worth of PPE to be kept on hand.

The lack of a proper stockpile shouldn’t have been news to PHAC — a number of reports, including an internal audit as far back as 2010 raised these issues but nothing was done to address them.

They didn’t have proper inventory control, inventory rotation, they didn’t keep track of when materials expired or when they needed to be replaced.

The excuse from PHAC, there were budget constraints.

This simply isn’t believable.

Not from the government as a whole or from PHAC as an organization.

In 2015, the last year the Conservatives were in power, PHAC had $312 million allocated to it.

By 2019, the last year before the pandemic, the organization was granted $339 million by the Trudeau Liberals and had more than $7.8 million left unspent according to the public accounts.

That’s a $27 million increase over four years, an 8% increase.

You could say that was just keeping up with inflation but PHAC had choices to make and instead of spending on health security – which would include the NESS, they cut it.

In 2015, PHAC spent $61 million on health security which was a reduction from $73 million the previous year when the threat of Ebola was present but in 2019 spending on health security had dropped to just $55 million.

The overall budget went up at PHAC but spending on what is listed as one of their four core services went down.

Why spend on PPE for a pandemic when you can focus on vaping, warning about purchases from garage sales or storytelling projects.

These are the things PHAC found value in before COVID struck.

In fact, they spent $5.6 million on climate change activities in 2019 — including a $500,000 grant to the University of Winnipeg for a climate change storytelling project.

None of this is contained in Auditor Hogan’s report, which to be frank, while scathing still amounts to just a slap on the wrist compared to what PHAC should have received.

This was an organization that was set up in the wake of SARS to specifically ensure Canada was ready for future pandemics and they failed.

They failed miserably in ways that cost lives and they have lied about it by citing budget constraints that were nothing more than deciding other spending areas were more important.

PHAC needs a major overhaul post-pandemic and none of the people who allowed this to happen cannot be part of the organization’s future.

‘Follow the Science’ – Study shows Masks Didn’t Slow COVID Spread

Our findings do not support the hypothesis that SARS-CoV-2 transmission rates decrease with greater public mask use,” notes the U of L report. Researchers stated that “masks may promote social cohesion as rallying symbols during a pandemic, but risk compensation can also occur” before listing some observed risks that accompany mask wearing:

New findings reported Tuesday in a University of Louisville study challenge what has been the prevailing belief that mask mandates are necessary to slow the spread of the Wuhan coronavirus. The study notes that “80% of US states mandated masks during the COVID-19 pandemic” and while “mandates induced greater mask compliance, [they] did not predict lower growth rates when community spread was low (minima) or high (maxima).” Among other things, the study—conducted using data from the CDC covering multiple seasons—reports that “mask mandates and use are not associated with lower SARS-CoV-2 spread among US states.”

Further from the above link:
Prolonged mask use (>4 hours per day) promotes facial alkalinization and inadvertently encourages dehydration, which in turn can enhance barrier breakdown and bacterial infection risk. British clinicians have reported masks to increase headaches and sweating and decrease cognitive precision. Survey bias notwithstanding, these sequelae are associated with medical errors. By obscuring nonverbal communication, masks interfere with social learning in children. Likewise, masks can distort verbal speech and remove visual cues to the detriment of individuals with hearing loss; clear face-shields improve visual integration, but there is a corresponding loss of sound quality.
The study also noted that the mandates put in place by many states in line with CDC guidance at the time were “poor predictors of COVID-19 spread,” according to the research:

In summary, mask mandates and use were poor predictors of COVID-19 spread in US states. Case growth was independent of mandates at low and high rates of community spread, and mask use did not predict case growth during the Summer or Fall-Winter waves. Strengths of our study include using two mask metrics to evaluate association with COVID-19 growth rates; measuring normalized case growth in mandate and non-mandate states at comparable times to quantify the likely effect of mandates; and deconvolving the effect of mask use by examining case growth in states with variable mask use.

'DEVASTATED'

Lisa Shaw: BBC presenter, 44, died from blood clot after having AstraZeneca Covid vaccine, her family say

The 44-year-old mum-of-one, who worked for BBC Newcastle, developed "severe" headaches a week after having the Covid jab and fell seriously ill a few days later, her family said in a statement.

Experts stressed that cases of blood clots linked to the vaccine are extremely rare.

Lisa's family said: "She was treated by the Royal Victoria Infirmary's intensive care team for blood clots and bleeding in her head.

"Tragically, she passed away, surrounded by her family, on Friday afternoon.

"We are devastated and there is a Lisa-shaped hole in our lives that can never be filled. We will love and miss her always.

How COVID Vaccines Can Cause Blood Clots and More

STORY AT-A-GLANCE

  • Doctors for COVID Ethics have been warning about the potential for gene-based COVID-19 “vaccines” to cause blood clots, cerebral vein thrombosis and sudden death
  • SARS-CoV-2 spike protein binds to the ACE2 receptor on platelets. The subsequent activation of the platelets can lead to disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), i.e., a pathological overstimulation of your coagulation system resulting in abnormal blood clotting, thrombocytopenia (low platelet count) and hemorrhaging
  • Research shows deaths are 14.6 times more frequent during the first 14 days after the first COVID injection among people over the age of 60, compared to those who aren't vaccinated. Other data also show that after COVID-19 vaccines were implemented, overall death rates have, with few exceptions, increased
  • A key problem with all of these gene-based COVID-19 vaccines is that the spike protein itself appears toxic, and your body is now a spike protein-producing factory
  • Its inherent toxicity may be due to it being a prion protein. If so, we can expect these injections to cause all manner of prion diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS)
February 28, 2021, Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi, a retired professor, microbiologist and infectious disease and immunology specialist, along with several other doctors and scientists who have formed Doctors for COVID Ethics, sent a letter1 to the European Medicines Agency (EMA), warning about the potential for gene-based COVID-19 “vaccines” to cause blood clots, cerebral vein thrombosis and sudden death.
