Are people required to wear masks? Bars and Restaurants open?


Traffic is almost non-existent now. The speeding and ignoring stop signs and red lights is noticeable.



Beaches will be allowed to be open I believe after Memorial Day, but all public restrooms are closed. So with all public restrooms and restaurants are closed... the water will be lovely!


It will be like Carson Beach in Southie back in the day when the water looked like Root Beer (including the foam).

I guess it depends on if you are using the science from March 2020 or the science from May 2020.


I wear the mask out because it is now required and we have a bunch of mask fascists out looking for conflict.

I rarely wear one. The one I have my wife made and it is not medical grade (which does protect you). I find it uncomfortable. I prefer to just keep my 6 feet away.



I don't think the science has changed much. A mask will block water droplets from the wearer from covering a wide area around them. This protects those who would have been in that area. Of course, there is no reward for you to wear one. It is only a reward for the people around you if you are a carrier.



But like I said, I find them uncomfortable particularly if I have headphones on or sunglasses. Everything becomes all tangled. They are not the law up here -- just a suggestion.

Well it is the LAW by fiat up here. We have a GOP governor who is about as liberal and left as they come. He gives cover for our Democrat Legislature who hasn't had to do a thing for years. Charlie Baker does it all for them. They failed twice on gas taxes in Massachusetts. They passed Gas Increase Tax that would continue to rise based on some metrics. That way they did not have to hear from the peasants when they raise the gas tax from time to time. Well the tax was recalled by vote. Gov. Baker is planning to use an Executive Order to raise the tax. Basically he takes the voter repealed law and makes it an Executive Order due to the Climate Change Emergency.



Back to the topic. You do not need a medical grade mask. You can use whatever you want to cover your nose and mouth. BUT your nose and mouth WILL be covered or face fines up to $300 for the first offense. We like to call them Charlie's Burkas.

No masks. No bar or restraunts for another week. Parks, beaches and lakes are open for day use.

COVID19 is going to be here a LOOOOOONG time. Do you think this type of life is sustainable? Should our younger generation now accept that life consists of going out to get food and going home will now be the norm?

Don't despair, H.I.V. and aids is still in our midst but very few healthy people seem to be affected.

That statement just goes to show how ignorant and morally bankrupt you really are! Have you not heard of people being transfused with contaminated blood? Have you not heard of a person being infected from having sex with a hetero sexual who in the past unbeknownst had sex with someone who had previously engaged with a homo sexual? You should just STFU, Walter and start minding your own business. It's not up to you to decide who's straight and who's queer!

HIV doesn't discriminate between Homo & Hetro. To get infected no Homosexual anything needs to be involved.

It wouldn't surprise me.

In 2017 alone, 53% of new HIV infections in Britain were gay men. Blacks make up the second-largest group of HIV people in Britain. So it's mainly gay men and blacks. Women are also a large portion.
