Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

Meh, about a third of the American electorate (and if this board is anything to go by, at least half of the Canadian electorate) actively rejects the truth, so why bother?

Is this forum an accurate characterization of the Canadian electorate? Maybe we don't take our politics quite as serious as you folks south of 49. I don't think we get quite as bogged down over "Trump types" and usually don't elect them. :)

The CDC turned down using German testing to go with their own tests. That wasn't Trump's doing.

FDA has issued an alert about “possible accuracy concerns” with Abbott ID Now coronavirus test used by the White House, as studies suggest it may provide an unacceptable number of false negatives.

Another thing Trump isn't at fault for.

... wait, what?

About a third of the way down the page...

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...-update-cases-deaths-obama-vote-a9515926.html

Two other questionable remarks from Trump included his praise for doctors and nurses who he said are “running into death just like soldiers running into bullets… it's a beautiful thing to see” and his contention that “I've never lost anybody to the flu that I knew,” apparently forgetting the death of his own grandfather from Spanish flu in 1918.

What.. the ever loving...
Trump wasn’t born when his grandfather died , so he didn’t lose him . Yikes I lost ancestors in the civil war .

Here too; actually NB is opening up because we did so well.
Yup you killed your economy for zero deaths . How much debt did you pass on to your grandchildren ? How many UN and under employed are going to go hungry once the governments can no longer keep the stimulus flowing ?

So why doOntario and Quebec have numbers that are so much higher then the rest of the country ? Could it be they do a worse job of senior care in those provinces ? Is there other factors at play ?

Yup. That comes from the Premier's lips. They need more oil money.

The spelling part is easy if you dump 1/2 a bottle of brandy into the pot.... It's a special recipe from Trump's great grand pappy before he picked up the Spanish flu (or was it herpes?)
